    Default X-pole anticipation!!

Yay, so I (finally) got my x-pole in the mail. It took over a month because they were backordered.

As a treat for some apartment cleaning (still have sooo much unpacking to do!!), I decided to wait a few days to put it together. I opened the box today, and it came with the new carrying case, after I bought the one listed seperately on the site...

So I mis-measured my ceiling when I ordered (by one inch, stupid me). And now I have to order and wiat for an extension to mailed to me.

I have waited so long and now I have to wait longer. I seriously can't wait to get on this thing!! Anyone else get an x-pole with the company's latest shipment?

I ordered the titanium gold one and it's soo pretty looking!

Argh! I'm just so mad at myself for measuring wrong! I don't want to wait, but oh well. Maybe it's actually a good thing. Cause I'll never finish painting, unpacking, or setting up my apartment if my pole was up already...

What is the height of your floor to ceiling Katherine?
Because if you look at the website, it's a range of up to a ceiling height.
Xpole is not a fixed length you just need to look at the floor to ceiling calculator for whether you need to tell them that you need extensions or not. I used to do promo for xpole. LOL and it did take a longgggg time for the poles to get to Australia.

Plus when they came, those who ordered titanium extensions were given chrome extensions. BAD!

    Hey Katherine!
(I SOOOO want that new set of bags that come with the Xpole!!!)
I'm still waiting for mine for my studio - It's being sent to a different delivery address and the guy who is supposed to be receiving it is being really lame, and keeps missing the DHL driver.
I needed a 1M extension for my home xpole and (with them being in stock) it arrived within 3 days. (I still need another 10cm extension, to make it stronger, but I've just got the extender all the way out - it would be fine without the short extension if it was regular height ceiling, but mine is 11ft5")
Are you in the UK? Their office team is really clued up. Stacey is great at sorting stuff out.

I've seen those bags.. they are ... very lack lustre.

    Delivish...

I've tried the titanium it looks brushed and not as shiny. Chrome is shinier and i found titanium easier to grip. But in general cos i'm used to chrome it doesn't matter to me. If the floor to ceiling height is 2.5m. You don't need to purchase an extension pole, the pack that you will be receiving includes a 250mm 'extension' just use that one. Also babe i didn't think that Jessie is bringing in the titanium gold ones, it's brushed silver.. not gold like on the UK sites. She has a picture of the titanium ones that she has. But you cannot really see the difference. In real life, the titanium pole just looks like brushed dull silver not shiny like the chrome ones. But it's not rough, it's smooth. Hard to describe it. Hope that helps!

Do you mean the bag that fits all the foam inside and is the same size as the Xpole box, or the new ones where you actually get a set of bags where the poles go in one, and the dome goes in another? I want the new ones.

bubble.. the ones where the dome goes in one. And there are velcro for the different poles.

Lexi- I know. My ceiling in the room I wanted it to go in is exactly 9 ft which is the tallest of the 'range.' Unfortunately, I can't put my pole there cause of my ceiling, and the other ceilings in my apartment are higher, therefore, I need an extension.

The bag I ordered was the old one that is rectangular and the foam goes in it. I didn't realize that my titanium pole came with the new version of the two bags.

I agree that Stacey is great, she's been the one helping me with everything. I'm going to hear back from her as to whether I can return the old style bag and how much the shipping will be for my extension.

I'm so upset I can't just have it set up NOW!!!!

And btw, Devilish, I like the way the titamium felt. I've always used chrome or stainless steel in the past though.

I didn't get to do anything on the pole when I tried to set it up because the ceiling wasn't proper for me to stabilize the pole, but just dancing around it and hold it with my leg felt good.

Katherine did you ever set this up completely? if so, how does it do holding your weight? does it bolt down? i cannot seem to find a site for the US that sells xpole to get a look at it's pricing and fitting in room details.. where did you buy yours?

    Love it!
