Default "wow, you're quite the salesman"

Uh, I seemed to get this comment a lot this last little while. I'll be just talking to them, and when I go to 'make the close', and they hem and haw, I'm playfully persistent. It's not like they're saying a definite 'no'. Anyway, everyone who said it did in fact get dances, and once in the CR were more than happy to have me dance for them...I just feel that having them say this means I'm showing too much of a game face? When they say it I just laugh and say "oh, hee hee, no silly, I'm a good dancer! I just don't want you to miss out". It doesn't seem like they say it in a bad way, but it can't be a good sign, right? lol. How do I manage to in fact BE a good salesperson without being so...obvious?

Bah, it's just another line guys use to NOT get a dance/get you a drink/go to vip and so forth. Time to move along and stop wasting your valuable time. Guys that waffle just irritate the Patience out of me.

Let their wife/girlfriend/so babysit them. Thats not part of the job description.
My usual response would be .. "Well, I am busy. Thanks for the chat, now I have to get back to work. Enjoy!"

if guys buying dances after the comment I think it's a good compliment. I wouldn't think to change the hustle.

If I remember correctly, my main response to this (as I did receive this backward compliment quite a few times in my time as well) was along the lines of:

That's because I'm selling something I love... lap dances! I absolutely honestly love doing them.. the eroticism, sensuality and they are just plain fun..

    or

That's because I have absolute unwavering faith in the product I am selling you - my lap dances!

Quick customer perspective: in many cases it may indeed be a brush-off from someone who doesn't want to spend.

But there are some dancers who focus too much on the verbal pitch and not enough on body language, physical connection, and sexiness. Those dancers come across as sales-ey, even to customers who want to be sold.
The physical things you do show us the product and get us excited about it. Make sure you do that while you are making the verbal pitch!

    I get that comment sometimes.

That's when I say " Great! Now it's time for the in-store demonstration."
Then I grab their hand and lead them to the back.

I tend to hear that a lot too, but usually from sales people themselves. and i find that people in sales are the easiest for me to sell to. i wonder why that is... *ponders*

and gcg i will definitely be using those lines!

    Love it!
