New girl, 19y.o have some questions

    Hi,

I found this forum browsing the internet about strip clubs, and I am VERY nervous and wondering what I should do.

I'm 19 years old, and I've been doing nude web modeling for 2 years now..and I have been doing camming for about a year.

I've recently moved to myrtle beach, SC and im looking to make some better money and have fun.

I've become more interested in applying at a strip club here in myrtle beach, SC but I don't know what club to go to, or what club will want me.

I have absolutely no experience in being an exotic dancer, and im kind of shy in front of people.
Are any of you dancers here in myrtle beach? do you know anything about the clubs here or have any pointers for me?

My only worry is that I have tattoos, and not just one or 2 small ones.
what are your opinions? do I have the look for it?

All clubs are different. You might have trouble with your tatts at some clubs. It's a fact of the business. There are plenty of girls w/ them that have gained employment. In fact, in my club, I'm one of the only ones w/out.
We were all shy to one degree or another starting out, and speaking from personal experience, I didn't really have the moves starting out. We pick things up as we go along.
The only way besides taking some pointers from the local girls is to go into the club and look around.
When you're ready to apply call the club- ask when the best time to meet w/ the manager about hiring would be, and look your best. Be ready to work that night as some clubs will have you start that night.

Your body looks good so I wouldn't worry about that.

BTW, you said you are 19 and have been nude modeling for 2 years? You were doing it underage?

in response to the tattoo question, some clubs wont like it, but some will. i have a lot more (a whole armful!) and got hired. i think they were a little dubious at first but when they saw i made money they were fine about it. i get a ton more compliments than negative comments from custies.
ya cute too. so no worries on that front!

Don't worry about doing any intricate pole work yet, it will come as you get more comfortable on stage. Nobody will be judging you on your pole routines, so don't sweat it. Also, just keep watching the other girls. You'll catch on. Good luck.

^Agreed. Just master the art of staying upright in platforms first. Pay attention to the girls that get tipped alot. Remember to move slowly and sensually and make eye contact. You'll do great. Keep us posted.

I would also have to say.. dont worry about pole moves at all for now. I DONT even know many lol and i have been doing it on and off since 19. Just get comfy with the stage and interact with custys. Thats pretty much it. Try not to crack your ankle in the shoes lol

If I had more of a heads up when I wanted to dance, I would have started going sets of squats a few times a day for a couple weeks before I started dancing....it would have saved a LOT of muscle aches!

i think you're gonna find that even though you work out you will be sore in places you never imagined.
I only had one outfit the first time I worked. I still only wear one outfit a night. A lot of girls like to change, but I find it takes time out from when I could be out on the floor.
It helps to have a back-up because they break and drinks get spilled etc, but if you can't have 2 outfits don't worry too much.

PRACTICE walking and moving around in your shoes. Wear them around the house. This will help build up your ankle muscles and other muscles associated w/ wearing platforms.

I still fall every now and then. It sucks, but I bet if you took a poll here there would be a lot of girls that have done it.

That's why it's important to focus on just a couple things the first time you go onstage and don't worry too much about the pole- other than the fact it's a great thing to hold onto for balance.

    thanks for the advice!
I'm worried about getting cuts/blisters on my feet because I bought a HUGE pair of platform shoes..so walking around/dancing for 6 hours might be painful. any tips for that? haha

I also just started my "time of the month" should I still go in and dance? im worried about it, i took some midol for bloating and cramps but i dont want any leaks or accidents.

sorry for the too much info, I just need all the advice/tips I can get.

I've many tattoo's piercings have just started up. had no objections infact people ask me about them esp my one downstairs and been modeling since i was 18. (now nearly 22) Did my first show few weeks ago mega nervous but when u up there its so easy. I can't talk infront of people but i find strippings easier. Tho i think being confident around people is important stripping i find myself talking alot to customers, i found alot of them like you more if you can hold a conversation as well as you can take your clothes off! (better tips)
May be different in the US i presume thats where your from. i dunno.
    Good luck
