Default Have you seen this? Light up pole

Have I just never noticed this before on the PS site? I never saw a light up pole before. Anyone have one?

(I admit to noticing it while looking longingly at the site waiting for my super pole to arrive. Sigh. And hitting refresh on the UPS tracking site...)

Nah I dont think I could recommend that. Your focus could be on the dam glowing pole and it could get you hurt, because you arne't paying attention. Looks cute though...

Lol! I got my pole about a week ago and thought it would be cool if it glows... and now they get the idea... Just wondering what material that is made of? Plastic? Might leave some nasty marks if your heel accidentally hits it...

It's gotta be plastic. It's pretty cool, though.

I doubt that they would sell something that hasn't already been "rigoursly" (sp?) tested... none the less... I would pay for one as well! if I ever had my own place where I could put in a pole.

ive danced on plastic poles before (i think.... showgirls auckland has glowing poles. made from plastic with air bubbles up it and LEDs shining top and bottom, the light gets carried the length of the pole) i didnt do pole trickes back then, but i dont remember seeing too many dancers doing them then either. maybe the poles do have crap grip?

I'd also guess that your customer's attention would be on the bright flashing lights, positively or negatively it doesn't bode well for you. Especially if all the girls use it. I mean, if you are the only one using it then it might be pretty cool and set you out from the crowd. If not, I think it would be very distracting.

But for personal use I think it'd be awesome.

I have danced on glowing pulls like memaid discibed they have them in a club here in louivlle and at southren x in wv they suck ass. Now i don't know what the ones on that website are like but the ones i have the unfoucant pleasure of dancing with are plastic and wobbly and to thick I think they are more for show becuse at both clubs i have seen them at they are on the secound stage not the main they make the club look cool but are not great for dancing by any streach.

I've used them. WAAAAYYYYY too sticky on the body. Imagine a SCREEEEECCCHHHHH as you slide down.

And the smart fucking club put it on the jacuzzi. Double trouble!

the glowing part would be cool (not green though, ergh) but changing with the beat of my music? I can't even dance with strobe lights on-- I can't imagine dancing to a pole with flickering lights in it.

I saw an amazing light up pole at Burning Man 2 years ago. When I played on it, I was doing tricks all over the place and it was solid...of course, that one was a one of a kind so I have no idea if these can hold up to the same standard of usage...either way, that thing was amazing!!!

Looks interesting ... The only thing I not thrilled about is that it is not a fully removable pole. They say the glow pole "only requires a few holes in the ceiling" so it needs the ceiling mount and doesn't just work with the non-slip floor and ceiling pads like their SuperPole. If they get it to work without the ceiling mounts I might give it more consideration.

They have a light up pole where I work. It's too thick to do any tricks on though.

It is actually plexiglass! It is crap for grip...way too sticky to do much...causes excessive skin burns when you grip.

I have worked on 4 poles like this one...and they really suck. Great if you just lean against it or walk around it!

We have one of those at my club- it sucks. First off it's not sturdy, and because it's plastic, it bends slightly when you put weight on it. Don't get one. They are aweful.

these are acrylic. yes they are a permanent mount. the led light is in the top portion of the mount. i'm not sure of the thickness though.. i'll have to ask.

Great to look at. Shitty to work on. I worked at a club with a hollow pole that had glowing liquid in it and IT SUCKED. It was always leaking and breaking.
