Marasmus says, "Oh no, that wasn't gas, it was merely a rectal chuckle."
Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."

Holy shit!!! Thats intense. Clearly, I'm no prude either....but even I would say no to that. BUT hey....I would have liked it when I was little. I pole danced around my canopy bed, haha.

The company says that it isnt for kids... I wonder why they dont stock it in fitness sections instead of toys...?

Er...that's a little scary to be in the toy section.

yikes.
I saw it advertised on a site a while back, I would have never thought they were marketing to children. And if that's not the goal, I agree, why put it in the toy section???

wow, thats pretty unbeleavable.
Anyone notice that it comes with a garter and fake money too boot! It's the extra "accessories" which make it hard to accepth their spin that it was intended to be marketed towards adults. I mean why put it in the toy section and why have the fake "peekaboo dollars"?![]()
The article quotes their advertising: "Soon you'll be flaunting it to the world and earning a fortune in Peekaboo Dance Dollars."
Okay, I walk through the toy isles and think Bratz Dolls are a little too risque, but this is overboard don't you think?
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
LOL that family doesnt look too happy

Oh yuck!!
They sell this in my local Spencer's store in the mall...
TBH. This pole really is ONLY A TOY (albeit one for adults)... you CANNOT perform anything more than a wiggle around it, it will fall down if you lean on it. It is marketed on their own site as a *game*.
Obviously, Tesco has made a mistake by categorising it with children's toys, but everyone has run off with the idea that it is for sale to kids, or even just on-view to kids on the Tesco website. OMG! they might see condoms and lube too - cos tesco sells those! It is adults who will be buying from the site, and use their own COMMON SENSE not to buy this for their kids - duh!
I'm almost sure that tesco have mentioned that it is an adult toy/game. There are plenty of other toys and games that are "adults only": check out Nookii as a board game!
lol...i actually flipped on it a few times...then there was the time I leaned against it to hard and it came crashing down and took me with itOriginally Posted by Bubble

Hi everyone!
I saw that at one of those stores that sell all that goofy stuff.. Like ummm glowing lights and body paint and like raunchy funny stuff.. oh god i cant remember what the store is called. SHIT. But i didnt know they were marketing to kids. THat isnt rite. I meen I know i cant say much but i know if i had a child i wouldnt want her saying when she grows up she wants to be a stripper. (dont hate me for saying that) lol
I don't think they were marketing this to kids, they just made a mistake in where they categorized it in thier store. The pole with funny money is for adult couples to play stripper at home. It was a stupid category error, and now people are making a big deal out of nothing.
Hahahahaha! I bet some disgruntled employee/ buyer decided to get the stripper pole and try to market it as a toy! There have been other instances where sexual imagery was put into kids hands to piss off management.
I doubt that the toy store wanted to sell sex "toys" to children. Someone is exacting a little payback on corporate!![]()
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!
Probably Spencer's the store I was talking about in my postOriginally Posted by Fancey
I hate to rain on the "indignant parent" parade, but a friend of mine who was a young girl in the Eighties "played" stripper for the neighborhood boys....in the garage. It doesn't take a novelty kit to get kids to imitate what the see on TV & in movies....
well who is in charge of determining where to put a product? The company producing it or the store? I wonder if this was more the store than the company because I can't see them doing a strip poker game (mentioned in the story) in the kids aisle. :/
I'd say that's a rarity. Few people would want to encourage a child to pole dance. The thought of it is pedophilic.Originally Posted by madmaxine
