I just discovered something amazing...or at least it is to me.
You know how the inside of your stripper shoes get all gross with 'stage jam'?
Well, usually I use some baby wipes, a wet paper towel, etc to clean my shoes. And earlier today, my bf was talking about using baking soda as a toothpaste. So I decided to try using baking soda on my shoes. I took an old toothbrush, and scrubbed all the surfaces and little cracks where the seams are. Then I rinsed them off, and sprayed them with Febreze.
They look brand new and they don't smell AT ALL! The baking soda even took out all the little scuffs on the platform part from stage friction and such.
