Default Is this stupid? (re: avoiding house fees)

Friday afternoons house fee is $40.

This Friday I (for once) have school off for a professional day.

I offered to come in an hour early and clean the dressing room in exchance for no house fee.

Do you think I sound cheap and desprite? The housedaddy didnt even believe me when I told him it was OK with the owner.....

I dont care what people think but I dont want to look pathetic or moronic.

Our dressing room is gross.... Theres make up powder everywhere and the lockers are mad dusty.

I think its worth it and it will get me off to a good start knowing all my money is.... MINE... not the houses.

BUT I wont do it if it makes me look bad.

That's a high house fee for a day shift.

Are Fridays good? Id clean in for free house fees. I do agree with Tina that is high. Thats about how much Id pay at pure platinum for a night shift on any night almost. There is nothing wrong in wanting a clean environment to work in. I dont think anyone will tell you youre stupid for wanting to be clean.

I agree. I think the girls would appreciate a cleaner work area, and you'd benefit from it. I cant speak for everyone at your club but I don't think you should worry if they think your'e stupid or cheap. If the owner said its okay then hey, smart thinking for a way to get out of fees without cheating the club. I say go for it.

The other girls might make some snarky comments but fuck them. $40 for one hour of light cleaning is not a bad deal.

Totally a good idea. If it needs to be done, and you don't mind doing and you save money I can't see any downside to this.

And truly, if someone says something smart ass about, who cares....

What everyone else said. Awesome for you, and now you have a clean place to get dressed. And cleanliness is next to godliness, remember... even in the strip club.

I think it's a good idea. It's like you're getting paid $40 for an hour of cleaning. Better than many professional cleaners yeah?

I'd recommend bringing some sort of music listening device with you... listen to your music while you dance, get in the groove, and then by the time that the other girls are ready for their shift, you've already spent an hour getting ahead of them in mental prep.

Also, if there is a dispute between you and another girl... who will people believe, the messy stripper or the wily and tidy one?

Hopefully after you give it a good cleaning other girls will follow suit and maybe for once stop being disgusting.

Yeah, our waitresses clean the changeroom (i think...they did at my old club), and if I had to wait for a ride I'd sometimes help. Strippers can be such messy pigs! Probably cuz they get so drunk some nights.

    Thanks.

I asked the owner and he said "sure honey" and when I told housedaddy about it he was like "WHAT?... Are you sure he wasnt kidding?"

But I wanted to tell housedaddy before hand so if the owner wasnt in they would know a head of time what I was doing.

Now you know other girls are going to try to copy your idea, right? Mabe you could talk to house daddy and see if you could always have first dibs on the cleaning.
$40 is $40. Your smart for doing this.

Isn't tip out a flat rate of 30-45 dollars for the dayshift (depends on the day) that takes care of the house dad, dj, and the house fee. That is what it was when I was there and I doubt it changed and I wanted to clarify that the house fee is not 40 dollars for a shift. The entire amount she would be tipping out to everyone is 40.

It was smart of you to ask to clean in exchange for not having to tip out but I still think it is good idea then to throw the house dad and dj a few buck since they do get a portion of the tipout. I doubt other girls will try to copy your idea but i would advise that you go in early, do the cleaning and then be in the process of getting ready when the other girls start arriving and I wouldn't tell them that you got out of paying your housefee for cleaning.

    Just my two cents.
