    Default Houston-Day Shift?

I was considering picking up a day shift tomorrow afternoon like 1-7, ish? At the St.James in Houston, since I can't work tomorrow night (Friday), I was just wondering if anyones tried a Day Shift in Houston and if it was even worth it?

Well, duh! I just re-read your post and actually understood it this time... Someone must've forgotten to eat their Wheaties this morning.... (: Fridays are always packed there (esp. with the seafood buffet they have during the day on Fridays)-I've never worked a dayshift so I can't speak from experience, but I would think it would be pretty good. Everytime I've gone in during the day to cash in a dance ticket it's pretty busy in there. A lot more businessmen with $$-and it wasn't even on a Friday...

dayshift is not worth it in houston for non-extras girls unless you are willing to sit around and build up regulars. and really, that means you might as well do midshift-- you'd build the regulars and still walk with nightshift money.

Thanks Mia. I'm just gonna suck it up and work extra hard Saturday night so I wont have to fight the dayshift or its managers.

Is Ken still the day manager at St. James? He's pretty funny. I did well working a mid-shift there. not too fond of Htown dayshift. Loved the dayshift in Austin.....

I'm not positive - but Ken sounds familiar. Is he kind of asshole type funny? Because I was warned to avoid the dayshift if I could because the manager was an ass, but I am almost sure they said Ken. I could be wrong though.

Yup, he was a total asshole at first, but that's his kind of humor. He ended up being really cool.........

I worked there when Ken was there. He's a little quirky, but ok. Friday day shift is good the Friday of the 1st and 15th or the first one thereafter. Get there before 2 for a lesser payout, $18 I believe. The clientele gets shitty after around 7:30 or 8, and usually it is hard to make money after then. The money guys are there in the afternoon. I have had Friday afternoons where I made $300-$1000, somewhere in that range. The off Fridays however I made maybe $100-$200.

Sunday dayshift was good for me too. Get there by 1 for a $5 payout, and work until 7 or so. Guys on Sundays usually come in for their dances and leave. I always made $200-$300 on Sunday afternoons. Less girls. Sunday nights sucked.

Saturday night is iffy. If you get the right mix of customers you can do ok.

During the week I always got to work around 4:30 and worked until 12:30 or 1, l if there was money in the club.

    I Need Some Guidance!!
Any Opinions On Best Clubs On Sundays. Not That Any Are Great, But My Friend And I Can Only Work Certain Days/times -school. Sunday Happens 2 B 1 Of Them So I Might As Well Try. Treasures And Centerfolds Both Slow But Few Girls, So You Can Occasionally Get A Good Spender . I Would Prefer Another Club . Anyone Know Of Any Around Here. I Didnt Know About The Booth Dances At St James And Think It Would Be Harder To Sell Dances. Tell Me About Sundays At The Clubs U All Have Worked At.
    Thanks!!!!

TxSweets, the booth dances are pretty easy to sell. I'd say easier to sell than on the floor dances because its more private so people who just feel weird having everyone watching them feel more comfortable getting dances. Also it makes it easier to sell multiples without having to sit and chat forever because you're already back there, just ask "keep going?". I'm working my first sunday tomorrow, but a waitress there told me Sundays werent bad.
