    Default Oh, the burn

I went to a new tanning place yesterday and did my usual, leval 2 tan. Only, this place allows twenty minutes in the leval wear my old place only allows 10 minutes. Well, I decided to go with the 20 minutes and I am burned, only, I dont think its a sun burn, I think its a heat burn from the bed getting to hot(the only place I burned was wear my skin touched). I also, have only had 2 other sunburns in my life, so this is a new unpleasant sensation.
To fix it, I think I'll only use the stand up bed from now on, but any ideas on how to make the pain pass sooner? I'm using aloe vera gel, burn ease ointment, cold baby oil baths, and drinking tons of water. There has to be something else..
On the positive not, the skin is turning this gorgious bronze shade, but still..my bum hurts! what to do?
Also, I noticed that the sides of my body aren't tanning as much as the front and back, any suggestions to fix that as well?

Advil or ibuprofen always helps me.

What about an oatmeal bath? Also, some fragrance free aloe vera lotion would help too.

Oh, thank you for the pain pill tip! Why didn't I think of that? Der! The pain is subsiding already... I'm definately going to take an oatmeal bath tonight, or sooner, and add some chamomile bags to it. I don't need to peel, I need this tan

Solarcaine. It feels nice and cold when you spray it on, and it has lidocaine in it to numb the pain. It's the best thing in the world for burns, especially sunburn. You can get it at any pharmacy.

Feel better soon. Be careful in the future. My sister had a similar experience at a tanning salon & was sore for quite a while.

I used to use Solarcaine when I was burnt as a kid & it works great.
