I cannot wait until this movie comes out! I just loved one and two. Hope this one is just as good.
Anyone else a fan?

Outstanding!!
That dude's clown-esque mask with the big cheek bones still freaks me out hehe

I love that movie. It's all about choices. Make the right [moral] choice and ya live (Saw II was especially about that.)
But in that movie, a whole lotta people like to make the selfish expediant choice.

I like it while my ex girlfriend loves it....Were planning to see Saw III when it comes out.

I thought Saw II was pretty weak. The first one though was really good and I'll definitely see # III

I liked the original and heard this about II so I never saw it....but then it got a good review up at the top of the thread.Originally Posted by DancerWealth

Why did it suck?

It just seemed like yet anothe sequel banking off the success of the first one. The first was pretty original. The second just seemed like another excuse to make money off of an audience who liked the first one. It just made me imagine of a bunch of studio executives in a meeting saying, "Well, the first one went over great with audiences. Quick, someone slap togther an overly predictable script that those morons will run to theatres and dump another ten bucks to see."

I loved Saw one and particularly Saw two. Can't wait to go see it.

I'll go see it if I hear it doesn't blow, liked the first one as well. Not to derail but I think the scariest movie out lately was Hostel, *shudder* so much for touring eastern europe lol Kinda flattering tho, ******spoiler removed****** Americans *smirk*
EDIT: Oops! Spoiler removed, duhr.
EDIT EDIT: Well this is pointless now that you've quoted me lol

I don't think she spoiled much. I did think Hostel was pretty awesome though. Pretty intense!

Totally off-topic, but my GOD Emily's new avatar rocks my socks!

SAW I - was actually a film with great potential with the biggest problem. MISCAST!
You couldn't care less about the characters who are dying.
SAW II - wasn't a bad follow up. Better characters. I actually thought it was a good second film.
I can't think of any horror movie where i gave a shit less about the characters who were dying except maybe Haloween 1 and 2 and maybe the original Alien (I don't count the sequels as horror, fantastic as Aliens was it's an action flick). For me, horror is dead as the worm in a bottle of Tequila. It's for 15 year olds. Back in the day they made horror movies for grown-ups, no longer do they do that. None of it scares me at all. Disturbing, maybe (Like 'Odishon', i was like "I'm gonna go be a celibate monk" after watching that flick), but not horrifying.Originally Posted by supermaruchi

I loved the original, but felt that the second lacked something that the first had. The acting was much better in Saw II, but that was really about it.
Hopefully they will combine both, but I always have loved horror movies, so I'm definitely seeing this one. Have to bring someone to cuddle up with though, I'm such a scardey cat!![]()

Hostel 2 in the works?! AWESOME![]()

All i can say (my movie review)...
Watch itimo much better than 1 and 2....your gonna like this one
And i saw the previews to Hostel 2....looks nice
"Hostel 2"???
Bah! I was so hyped up to watch the first one. When I finally did, it was such a disappointment. The ONLY good part, in my opinion, was the tendon slashing. Heh.
