i was wpndering the same thing im moving to austin next week, and have no idea where to start.

i live in austin, I dont dance as of yet though. Palazio did seem the best from the club reveiws. I knew a gurl in highschool who worked at the Landing strip right by owr school, but i never asked her anything about it. Also XTC is by my highschool and i wouldnt be surprized if it was kindda shady, ahah, no offence to any SW gurls who may be working there. Id be intrested in seeing what dancers had to say as well.

From what I've been told (which this was a while ago), P10's is a favorite of quite a few girlies on here.

Katrine can give you detailed info on the Austin scene. Perfect 10, Yellow Rose, and Sugars used to be decent volume, but I haven't been there in several years.
What do you need to know? I am up to date on the club as an active stripclub junkette
Honestly, the clubs here are all kind of the same to me. Start wherever is closest to you. I don't recommend Club O, and I really don't care for Landing Strip myself. XTC, I actually am out of the loop about, so I can't help you in that regard.
P10 and Palazio are bigger clubs, if that doesn't intimidate you. Are you new to dancing? Dayshift? Nightshift?

I agree with Katrine though to the list of clubs I would avoid I would add Hot Bodies (crap BYOB down south) and Joy. Hit Sugars, the Yellow Rose, Palazio, P10, and Expose -- Expose might be a good place to start since it's smaller and more neighborhoody but still nice.

how much do you generally make in Austin? (a night) because I'm moving to that area in a year or so, and I was just wondering.
Palazio, Yellow Rose, and Perfect 10 are good clubs.
I'm another Austin girl, and I agree with all the club recomendations above. Just go with whatever one is the shortest drive. As for the money, don't expect to make a fortune. Dancers are a dime a dozen in Austin and the clubs overhire. You'll need regulars to get you out of the hole on those slow nights.
Expose was my first club, it was a good place to "break in". Having regulars there was helpful.
When I started, I'd average about $200 a night. As my nunchuck skillz improved, I'd make around $400-600 on average, and even more when I worked longer shifts. Since there is no official VIP room take, the longer you work on a good night, the more you can make.
My regulars were pretty good as well, although they were mostly from when I worked dayshifts. I've made over $1,000 a night at Perfect 10 many times but that was after a looooong nights work hustling my ass off and never stopping.

Selling dances was like pulling teeth, there would be 20 girls sitting in the dressing room because there were not enough customers for the number of girls.

I'd be working nightshift.
I hope I make good money.
Girl, you saw my hustle, I busted my ass for that kind of money. Aside from SOP, I made lots of bank from the youngsters, believe it or not. Those guys NEVER get dancers coming by. The trick w these punks is to go for the kill VERY quickly..............Originally Posted by Zabrina
My last few excursions though, I saw a lot of BS though, but its relatively ok to make a few hundred if you look nice, pretend you care, and learn not to get taken advantage of.![]()

See, using $ amount can be misleading. When I started, it was 98, the economy was banging from the tech boom, and money was everywhere. Nevertheless, I was a newbie, didn't know how to hustle, would sit around way too long with guys, didn't have the best fantasy look, etc....I would work from 6pm-2pm, and average around $200. Seasoned veterans were probably making triple that, but I was learning the ropes.Originally Posted by chilired
Flash forward 6-7 years later. Inflation has averaged about 3.4% every year, so the value of the dollar has declined. The tech bust has wiped out all of those nice corporate expense budgets. Extras have increased. When I started, a girl who let custy's suck on her nipple would get jumped after work. By this point, no one cares. Everyone grinds, everyone wants to survive. So take those things into account.
Over time I've learned to hustle, manipulate, how to properly lapdance, and improved my looks. But I'm also lazier, and usuallly only work about 5 hours. With all of that in mind, I am averaging $400-600. But there are so many variables to consider.
-How long will it take you to learn the game? (Read Stripperweb)
-What is $400 worth in 2007 versus 1998?
-Are you willing to put up with high contact?
-How long are you willing to stay on shift? (it would take me around 10 hours, busting until 4am, to make $1,000 +, but it was good excercise, lol)
See, at this point, dollar amount becomes irrelevant.
Just go to your nearest club, and try it out for yourself.....
