Anyone ever worked Christmas Eve/Day before?
yeah...eve will be bad because there will be lots of girls (sad but true) trying to make money for gifts and not that many customers.... but everyone will think you are closed on Christmas even if they do want to come in.
Personally, I have not worked either of those days but I have been to a certain Scottsdale club on both Christmas Eve and Christmas day/night and it was SLAMMED!! There weren't enough girls and the ones I know that worked made bank..Tons of custys and few girls. I remember thinking that I wanted to work the next year..............
the club has to advertise it's open though, otherwise customers won't come in.

i've work xmas eve n it was good..A LOT of buisness guys come in after they get out of work early. many of them bought dances for their bosses so i was in high demand. it feels wonderful having multiple dances lined up. the bar closed early too so i worked the day shirft and did unbelievable. never worked xmas day i think its the one day were closed.
thanksgiving day and eve have been REALLY REALLY good for me too....
thanksgiving eve is a huge bar night
I always did good on Thanksgiving eve. My best night of all time was on Thanksgiving eve.
I have never worked a Christmas or eve. Christmas is my B-day .. so I dont wanna work anyway.
My club is really good about closing for holidays so we can spend the time with our familys.
Thanksgiving, Christmas/eve, 4th of July, sometimes Halloween,
BTW .. I never said .. but last night I went back to my home club. I had gotten a eal job and quit. It didnt work out at my real job, my oss got a demotion and he took my job
Anyway, we will deffinitly be closed Christmas and eve. It falls on a Sunday and Monday anyway .. so its the slow nights.

If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
don't know--this will be my first holiday season as a dancer. I plan to work it all--Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day (day after Christmas), New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. I'll also work Christmas Eve during the day, but not at night--I've got a paid gig cantoring for midnight mass at a cathedral. yay.
So I'll let you all know how it was.
When I first got this job, I was over the moon at the thought of being able to take holidays off! (unlike previous waitressing/retail shit, where getting a holiday off was like pulling teeth). But then my BF of two years broke up with me, and now all I want to do over the holidays is work, so I can keep myself busy and not think of how wonderful the holidays were with him and his family and how much I miss him.
