Not asking money because that's rude but, I'm curious, how many dances did you do your first night ever working in a strip club?
I did 8.

i worked in a stage dancing club to start with, so i only made tips (which were pretty sweet as i recall).
when i first started in a real club - i'm pretty sure i bombed fantastically. but then, it's no secret i had no idea what i was doing.
I work in a really busy club so from what I recall it was between 30 and 40.

My first time I worked was actually a dayshift. No one was making money. I didn't know anyone, so I just sat in the middle of the room in my pretty long turquoise gown. There was like 3 guys sitting there w/ 2 girls. I was more focused on the stage, watching the girls dance, when one of the girls who was sittin w/ the group of guys walks over to me and says, "hey that guy wants a dance" So off I went..
I did I think 2 dances and 2 VIPs whereas the other girls didn't do a single dance.

Well, I started out in a stage dancing only club and then went down to Florida after dancing for 9 months. The environment was so different for me, that I only did one lap dance and one table dance. I did much better the next day although I don't remember exactly how many dances I did.
About 6 laps and one Champagne Room.![]()

The first guy I talked to took me to the VIP. I made like, $300, but I don't remember the number of dances. I was hooked on dancing SO bad after that.![]()
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
i was only there for 1 and a half hours before chickening out and going home.
i made $7 on stage and done 2 dances. i think i left with $70 something dollars for that hour. i went back the next night, but cant remember how well i did on my first full night.

i made about 100 my first day... i think i did about 6 or 7 dances but 4 or 5 were with one guy who always dances with new girls
I made almost $600 my first night (5hours). Quite a few $20 table dances, and pretty good tips on stage. House fee was like $20 dollars I think. And $10 to dj. That was about 2 years ago.
2 dances when I actually stayed for the first time. One from a girl that asked her regular to kind of guide me through my first lapdance, which he was very helpful. The 2nd I did real fast and ran away after!![]()
3, maybe 4 dances. I was quaking in my platforms the entire time.![]()

Considering the cirumstances (it was Sept 12 the night after the day after the Sept 11 attacks) there were hardly ANY customers and I was nervous as all hell (shy). I didn't know how let alone have the confidence to ask for a lap dance .... so I can recall doing one at the very least.
Yet whilst I can only recall that one dance I think I did a few as I left with what I thought was a huge amount of money ($200 or something). I still think $200 is decent as I am very appreciative of the money I receive thanks to having been on unemployment benefits alot in my younger life.
These days I plan to make a certain amount each week as I have other plans that I want to see to fruition.

Six.
And one guy asked me to sit in his lap and talk and I felt like an idiot. I don't dig the lap sitting.
I didnt do so well financially but I got lots of applause (-: I remember who my first lap dance was for, I remember that he extended but I cant remember for how long or if I did any others on that day. It would have only been one or two other dances if so. It was a Friday lunchtime shift of a few hours. I made some stage tips too which wasnt the norm in that club.
My first club was a shitty one, it was unusual to make decent $ I couldnt belive the difference when I went somewhere else!
i made over1k my first night dancing off of one guy in RI. I got hooked fast.
he was a customer for like another 6 months until i left. I rarely did that well at that club.. Over 500 but only a couple times over 1k after that.
That was when i was 19

Errr, I'd like to reiterate since multiple people have said it - I'm not looking for financial numbers. $1000 could be ONE champagne room in one place or 500 dances at another.
I was hoping the newbs would feel better if they actually knew the number of dances we did (plus I'm curious) not the money we made.
Some of us get lucky... but most of us severely failed our first night.

uh ok.. then about 60 dances. lol

I did 3 or 4. I know I made tip out and gas home and breakfast for me and my room mate. Hehe.

It was a Tuesday night, I remember that. And I remember all the tequila the manager kept handing me. And I remember being all sweaty and shaky with nerves...I must've sold a little over a dozen dances or so. I remember coming home with about $250 and being so pleased. Pleased and sore.

it was dayshift. about 6 dances but a good amount of tips.
haha i only did 3 dances. however i made alot of one's while on stage, and sold lady drinks( we can do that at my club too)
i did good, and it wasnt at all what i expected on my first night and on a monday nite!
