    Default National Geographic-Meth.....

I've never been "illegally" high but give me a vicatin and I'm passed out in the front yard with ants all over me-true story.
Anyway I'm watchin National Geographic about Meth. Very Interesting!!! Meth causes the pleasure part of your brain to dump massive amts of Dopamine into your system, thats a given but then they put it into perspective. Food and sex are the two greatest contributors of natural human highs. They are capable of producing Dopamine levels of up to 150 units, meth can produce Dopamine levels of 1250 units per use, thats 3.5 x that of a cocaine high and 6 x that of what the body is able to naturally produce. I know it's wrong, you'll get hooked. etc... but does that not sound freagin' awesome? Can you imagine the greatest Orgasm (or cheeseburger) you've ever had and then x6??????? Sorry if you took time to read this, I just thought it was interesting, esp. since I still get a buzz off of Aleve
And those people were sooooo messed up, even after being clean for months, they still feel like they need it. Glad I always "Just said NO", I'll stick to my liquor.

Yep, it is horrible. I grew up in "the Columbia for Meth" (according to ...)........Central California. The Original "Cows, Corn and Crank." (Now states like Indiana & Iowa claim the title.)
I can't describe how depressing and disturbing the results of the drug are. It's complete garbage with a re-addiction rate upwards of NINETY PERCENT. Do yourself a favor and NEVER touch it.

Ummm... it's not at all like an orgasm. Not one bit. Sometimes I STILL crave it, and it's been 8 months. But... imagine not having slept or eaten for four days, your tongue is swollen and blistered and you can't swallow, your eyes are heavy droopy and you feel like a zombie but you can't sleep, you're force-feeding yourself something that's not a solid and are choking on THAT... then you're biting and scratching things... your lips are dry and cracked from repeatedly licking them... your mouth hurts from grinding your teeth...

If that's an orgasm, I don't want one.

i first time i had some- it was better then an orgasim. it literally took my breath away. i still remember it now- fuck! honestly, if there was a safe way of feeling that intense rush again, id be there in a flash (and no im not stupid enough to go back to meth looking for it!!)

i remember exhaling, and saying "guys, please dont ever let me try this again" lol the pipe came round again, and there was no way i was saying no.

some people say smoking ciggs gives a rush too. i wouldnt know, i havent smoked, smoking is bad for you hehe

Smoking is really bad for you...# 1 killer for females (heart disease). Ironically, marijuana is alot healthier and it illegal

Ya know, I was weird. I only used coke and meth to stay up so I could work 2 jobs and go to school full-time, and then when I started my business, so I could stay up and finish the md deadlines.

I never used it recreationally. I kept my use to work and cleaning house. Dang, I was fucking thrilled outta my mind scrubbing the floors jamming to erasure as high as a kite. Good times.

I can't get addicted to anything. My body rejects is before I get addicted. I never used much at all- my drug allowance was 20/month using meth, or 100/month for coke. One day, boom- my body refused to have anything to do with either. The tiniest dose would sent me into a sweating frenzy with heart palpitations and nosebleeds (although my blood pressure never got really high- I had a home bp moniter), so I quit. It wasn't too, too bad- but I figure my body's telling me something, time to say bye-bye. The only time I miss the drugs is when I'm cleaning house. God, it got me so motivated. I was never so freakin' thrilled out of my mind to be cleaning. That was awesome. Ah well....

Marijuana is worse for your mental health. Fact.

... so did I. Work mainly. I'm not a night person, and at the time I was working frem 8pm to 6am. I stopped doing it b/c it started becoming a vicious cycle. Get up and do a little bump to get going. Do another bump at work to keep going, and by the time I got home I was so wired that I couldn't get to sleep. When I did sleep, it was 2 or 3 hours at a time. By this time it was time to go to work and repeat the process again. In any given week I would be up for 3 days straight. Got tired of the cycle, so I quit.

"Frontline - The Meth Epidemic" was freaking cool too. I hope the National Geographic Video is for sale somewhere.

EDIT: found it, i'm a happy camper now.

Yeah, I've known people and seen people nearly die at the hands of this drug in a very unnatractive way. Dangerous stuff.

Wouldn't it be cool if you were dying anyway of old age or some horrible incurable disease, to have the choice to shoot heroine or smoke meth and slip away in exstasy?

That is how I want to die. No limited morphine drip for me, hand me a syringe and the strongest heroine money can buy.
