I have an x-pole.
It came it this amazing brown cardboard shipping box.
I went to put it up, but needed an extension.
I have an extension. It came in the mail.
I have an x-pole the correct size standing vertically in my living room. And yes, the top is in between the two joists that took forever tip toeing on my step ladder getting up and down constantly to move it over a few more inches.
The thing still moves!! I try to tighten it, but then the two main poles start to loosen. So I re tighten those. Then the instructions say that if it's on a wooden floor (which I have) someone should stand on the base while someone tightens the adjuster at top.
The rant of this is that I hate the fact I need my boyfriend (or anyone for that matter, but in my case he's the only one I can ask to help with my stripper's pole) to help me with this.
Anyone think my 60 yr old little lady neighbor would oblige standing on the base while I tighten the top??
Err!!!! I'm just sooooooOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated!! I've been waiting forever for this thing, and I put aside this whole evening to play on my pole, and now I have to wait till sunday. Maybe (I don't want to jinx it) thursday.
Worst part is that bf was here last night and asked if I wanted him to put it up. I said no thank you, I can do it by myself tomorrow.
I hate turning down his help only to have to ask for it!
And he's a better cook than I am! (I'm pretty good, but he's amazing)
Yeah, I know I have a little competitive thing with the whole boys do this, girls do that thing.
