    Default Sequins in a serger?

Can I run a layer of flat sequin fabric through my serger? Size 14 universal needles. I know I should just try, but I'm scred of hurting it! Sequins go through my regular machine no problem...

    Feature costumes for sale!

It should be ok, they're just thin plastic.

I don't have a serger but it works fine on my regular sewing machine. Maybe check the web site of the maker of your serger, or if you bought it from a dealer contact them.

If it were me, I wouldn't run sequins through my serger. They would dull the knives very quickly and if you had a misfeed you could knock the whole thing out of alignment and end up needing a costly repair.

The proper way to do it is to measure your seam allowance, and remove the sequins from that area.
