    Default Problems with females IRL

I now have a 'real job' and Im finding that the two other female waitresses are real bitches! Kitchen staff I love to bits, (cept the male cook) but I jsut cant deal with the female wait staff.

I wonder if its just me (though they both are real bitches to everyone) being over sensitive.

In the club it doesnt bother me, cos Im working for myself and they lose out by being bitches, but here we all get the same hourly rate, regardless of how well we do our jobs.

I just cant deal with them (dont need the stress for $18 an hour when I make $30 an hour on a bad day stripping) so Im not working the shifts with them if I can avoid it.

Have you found this in your 'real jobs'?

I recently had to quit my "real" job do to harrassment from a male manager. However, that was barely over minimum wage, for what you make I'd buttun up and deal with it. OOPS, just checked, your in australia so, I dunno how your currency works.
I say if there being catty bitches, their just jealous. If you have a manager or coworker going psycho with sexual overtures and threats, then quit or complain. If not, then put your chin up. Drama happens in all jobs.
I'm sorry you feel uncomfortable, and hope you'll get in with the click soon and not have to worry about this. Good luck!

It has nothing to do with nationality. Women have a pecking order like men do. It's the iron fist in the velvet glove.

I dealt with more b*tchy backstabbing at a state wildlife agency than in the club. Seriously. Ugly hairy-legged treeehugging b*tches can be as mean as coked out strippers. You just never see it coming because they're friendly...to your face.

Most women are bitches to me. Woemn just don't like me. Most men love me. I think that is why. I have few female friends, but out of the ones I do have, almost all o fthem think and act like men.

I've also found it harder to get along well with women than men. Even at a mixed booking (where I am doing cocktail waitressing) I find that I gravitate towards the men much easier than the women. Plus the women don't seem to like me for whatever reason and leave me alone generally.

Do I give off a signal that I'm not "girly girl" so don't bother with me unless you also aren't "girly girl". I agree, none of the females I call friend are "girly girl"... they have a bit of "tom boy" in them so to speak.

Just so everyone knows, $18 is not really a lot of money here.

The mere fact you were seen in a Star Wars Geek Princess Leia Slave Girl Bikini pretty much rules out girly girl friends in my mind.

When the new year starts even tho' the picture is over a year old (two years come May 2007) I will allow it have a brief return. In the meantime the centerfold spread is immortalised over at my MuseCube modelling portfolio ( http://musecube.com/goldcoastgirl/108123/ )

I guess I am doomed to always have mainly male friends. That's okay. I don't feel like I am missing much.

    Don't I know it!

It's hard to find a girl who understands the need for three different editions of the original Star Wars.

    Nani?

Odd I gravitate towards women more than men. I find it harder to get on with many men... I'm better than I used to be but I don't know.

A certain Empress says I get on better with people on line... well more the people I talk with. I try never to get too friendly at work... yes its a drama thing etc.

For the most part, I've gotten along with most women I work with. But there is always one bitch that seems to have a major problem with me and either relentlessly gossips about me or talks shit to my face. I never made friends with more than 1 or 2 girls at the clubs I worked, so that was never a problem. If they hated me, I wasn't paying attention.

But ladies, keep in mind, if you can't communicate AT ALL with women, its not a good sign for the real world when you get out of dancing. Most guys put up with our shit because they have this hope of pussy down the line.

I can't disagree, but I know that is not the only reason for some men. One of my best friends was a wise old woman, and yes I should have taken her advice more often than I did. She has retired now, just too much time in a male dominated industry. I wish she ran things where I used to work... we'd have done better to say the least.

I think it depends on the person your talking about, and many women may well fear even just the potential competition you represent. If you are new somewhere, remember you represent change, and people do not like change.

I know, its actually below mon-fri day award wage for the duties that I do (under the club workers award Im a level 2) but they took me on during all the drama and shit I had happen, as I was desperate for work, and my old club had been talking shit about me in the industry. So I feel that I owe them.

On a happy note I went to another interview today, and Im starting at a closer resturant next week. Hopefully wages are better, so I can only work 1 weekend day/night shift, for penalty rates.
