Default can waxing affect skin? sag?

OK, so I tried waxing again - actually sugaring, found recipes on the internet and maybe here, less messy, very cheap.

I just did my legs, because it was pretty effective last time and some hair just never came back. I'm still not ready to sign my pussy hair away permanently.

Anyway, it's like my leg skin feels weird, not irritated, just weird like its moving over itself.

Does waxing loosen your skin, or make it sag, or stretch it? If so I'm over it.

What are the long term effects for your skin?

I'm hoping its just a new sensation. Very weird.

When i was in Paris the beautician refused to wax my eyebrows for this very reason; sagging, she plucked them instead.

I googled the words "sugar hair removal recipe". It comes up with several.

I just made one and it works KIND OF like the stuff I bought once. It takes some trial and error, many errors actually.

This is the recipe I used but it takes some messing with

    10 T. sugar, 2 T lemon juice, about 1 T water.

Cook over low, low heat about 5-10 minutes stirring constantly. It will bubble, turn clear, then gradually turn yellow then brown. At some point I kind of knew when to take it off before it burned. The color changes faster, when you stir it it seems thicker, and it started to smell different. It should be amber colored. Let it cool in a jar.

Then reheat in boiling water til honey consistency. Spread on. Make sure its not too hot, I burned myself a few times. Put muslin strip over it. Wait a minute or two, then rip, Aghhh. I find I can use the same strip a few times.

Please look it up first, it might be dangerous. But I like it because the residue just rinses off and I can reuse the muslin and sticks.

I need to perfect it more before I ever do my whole bikini with it. Be very careful please.
The last time I used a sugar wax I bought only two times and I swear a good third of my hair never grew back. I hope I did it right.

    Sweet, bring it on!

As to the original question, I'm sure it does affect the elasticity of fragile skin, but leg skin? Nah, doubt it.

Maybe I'll try this. It seems less painfull than the wax. I'd never used wax before & had a friend wax my armpits. Well the wax must have been too hot or something because I ended up with what looked like sunpoison, gross. Plus my hair grows really fast, it was back in a week, so I didn't want to try something so painful again since it doesn't last long for me anyways.

Please do some of your own research on the internet first.

and search "sugaring recipe" or "sugar hair removal recipe".

I don't want anyone to hurt themselves during trial and error, because I've messed up a few times - like the stuff was too hot, or I didn't wait long enough before ripping the strip up and so nothing came off but pain, so be careful.

There are several versions of this recipe and I only tried one. I have bought the stuff before, so I had some visual idea of when it was done cooking. Maybe try a few versons out.

Good luck - be safe. At least it's all natural, so I'm down!

There's one site where it talks about the history of sugaring, pretty interesting...
