    Default OW! Overdid it at the gym!

    Went to the gym today, first weight training in nearly 2 weeks. Lifted what I normally do. Now its been 8 hours and my shoulders and upperback are killing me!!
    I have a bone problem with my collarbone/ribs, so my left side gets a bit sore, but this is everywhere. From all those rows and clean&presses I think

    Im about to apply deep-heat and have a massage, any suggestions?

    a nice warm bubble bath will make you feel loads better, and arnica.

    Full body massage. I hate after taking a break from weight training. Ends up hurting so bad the first day getting back into it!

    Take some magnesium or have an epsom salt bath for 20 minutes. (Epsom salts contain magnesium.) I find arnica helps with muscle soreness too.

    Tiger balm or bengay (I've been known to use BOTH), a cal-mag-zinc supplement, aspirin and heating pads.
