Growl! I usually stay off of scl.com, but I moved clubs and customers from my old club get to asking me my schedule, and it's an easy way to communicate with them. But whenever people start posting me questions and generally talking all "Molly", some asshole comes on and makes up ridiculous, slanderous lies about me. What in the hell did I ever do, except come in and do my job? Our club...our area I guess...there are so many people who go to that damn site. For my club alone there are 1700+ postings, and for my old club over a thousand. So it's in my best interest to refute the lies, right? I can't stand to let strangers thinks crap like that about me. What's worse is I have no idea who's doing this...the last entry was posted from "Jon" (saying I had a pimp, etc), and what creeped me out is that is the spelling of my crazy ex's name (guy who broke into my apartment last year, stole my money, and every once in a while still sends me emails or txts...scary guy who I just ignore). Or it could just be one of the girls I used to work with. I wouldn't figure anyone knows me well enough at the new place, not even my name.
Am I overreacting? I know I need to grow a tough skin for all this stuff, but the bad comments make me worry it will hurt my money. Any effective way to deal?
