I think we should give her a chance to at least get out a few orders before we start trashing them. Remember innocent until proven guity right? I will even be the first to order..I like risky things!!

In answer to the questions regarding duty. If an order is over $250.00 there will be duty if the order is under $250.00 there is not. There will be no invoices undervalued. The most expensive shoe is $25.00 including freight and the cheapest around $18.00 including freight. So, let's say you wanted 10 pairs of shoes that month (most unlikely but possible) your invoice would be about $240 so therefore no duty is payable. You will just have received 10 pairs of shoes that sell elsewhere for at least $80 per pair total $800... and then most likely freight on top of that. So, all in all you won't have too much to worry about.
I suggest if you have worries or concerns about duty spilt your 10 items per month into 2 lots of 5.
Also note that for those of you that have been critical or doubtful but have subscribed to the site already, will certainly not be overlooked and we look forward to welcoming you as members when we go live.

Love Kitten Lingerie is a membership site and as explained earlier the membership fee will be advised once the site is live.
The prices on the site is the final price, no extra's, no surprises, free freight.
Freight is not by post but with Fed Ex and UPS.
Every order will have an invoice attached at the correct price.
If your invoice in over $250 you will have duty to pay.
It would be very difficult to get an invoice to be over $250 due to the prices.
If this is a concern order 5 items twice a month.
The prices will be extremely good, no, in fact sensational.
    There is no pryamid selling
    There is no dropshipping
If you want to become a member you join and you are then able to purchase at the prices on the site.
No, the prices will not go up after you join.
Yes, you can have multiple memberships ( we have been asked this a lot)
The memberships will be limited and prices only exclusive to members.
If the memberships are sold you will be placed on a waiting list and advised as there is a spot available
There will not only be lingerie and dancer wear on the site but there is also some great casual shoes, belts, and costume jewlery.
We will also be adding other items at various intervals on the site.
You will be able to see everything on the site before you join.
The site is secure and has all the latest technology.
If you want to speak to a person there will be a phone number.
If you want to return any item you can return at your cost.
Planes fly here evey day so it is still only a couple of days till we received it.
We will return the item back to you at our cost via Fed ex or Ups.
Let's say you purchased a size 7 shoe and you really wanted a size 8. You could either
a] send it back and pay postage over to us, we send the item back to you FREE FREIGHT
b] keep it and sell your $18 shoe for $30 and reorder the correct size, and save the postage by you back to us.
But that is your choice and just a suggestion.
There is nothing hidden and all will be available for you to see when we launch.
We have had over 9000 expressions of interest from this site alone and we thank all those that have sent positive private emails.
I think this has answered most of your questions and we look forward to having you on board.
We aim and strive for the very best customer service with speedy delivery acheived by having the majority of items in stock.
If you are fashion aware girl and like a good buy, Love Kitten is the site for you.

How much is the membership? Surely you've got that figured out by now...

One question that I have, besides how much membership is going to cost, is how often new outfits/shoes are going to be added. I guess I wouldn't mind paying a membership fee (if it is low), but I don't want to keep seeing the same clothes and shoes month after month. I would definetely expect new inventory to be added regularly.

I also wanted to clarify an important point that Bridgett made earlier.
She mentioned shoes on a certain site that were $29.
I am not comparing them to those shoes in that price range, I am comparing to the shoes on that same site that are $78.99 plus freight.
Ours will be no more than $25.00 including freight and we have them all in stock and ready to ship
You can be assured if I compare prices I will always compare apples to apples.
As mentioned earlier the membership fee will be announced when the site is live.
There will be a very large range on the site and it will be continually updated the same as anyone else's site.
You will most likely see some items that you also won't have seen before.
We look forward to you becoming a member.

I'll admit I'm curious. But I have a question regarding membership. Will it be a month to month or does it have to be for a specified minimum amount of time. Will there be cancellation fees?

Don't worry about and don't comment to it. By responding to any negitivity you are feeding into the idea that you are not a legit business. People trash talk Wal Mart all the time, but they are still the biggest retailer in the world.

The concept of a wholesale buying club is not a new one. Many MLM orginiations are based on that business model, Avon, Amway, Mary Kay, Herbalife all use the "wholesale buying" as a way to build membership. Most of those types of businesses require an annual fee as well as minimum monthly purchases in order to retain your membership.

Costco wholesale, Sam's Club and Direct Buy are non MLM wholesale buying clubs. Those clubs work on yearly memberships. In the case of Direct Buy (I'm a member) it is a three year membership and it cost me $4000.00 with a renewal of $1800 a year as long as I want to keep my membership. Costco runs around $80 a year (I think) and Sam's Club is competitive with Costco.

To be honest, I think Pink Kitten's base of potential membership is way too small. They won't be able to sell enough memberships to off set costs of order processing and delivery. What about returns on items? Is this possible or once you've bought it, it's yours? Most manufacturer's won't accept wholesale returns, so that leaves Pink Kitten sitting on un-saleable merchandise.

As with any membership there is a membership time but it is not for a long period and very affordable.
This will all be revealed on launch day
If you refer back to my previous example of purchasing for example 10 pairs of shoes at $25.00 including freight total spend for the month $250.00.
If your purchased these shoes elsewhere they are $80 per pair plus freight, total about $850- $900 as freight is more expensive for shoes. Saving for that month $650.
So, as you can see by that one example there is great savings to be made.

But, how would you handle damaged items? Refunds? Returns?

Americans would have to pay to ship all of this stuff back to you...and incur all of those shipping costs, again. How would you handle re-shipping new merchandise?

HMM...Who is gonna buy 10 pairs of shoes in one month?
I think it will all depend on what this membership fee is. Becaue it seems to me that the only way to save is if you actually buy a larger number of items, and buy on a regular basis. If you are an occational buyer, like myself, who may only buy one or two items a month, you may not actually save any money, or save very little. This system would work for shopaholics, but for me, it would not save me money to pay a monthly fee when I may not buy something every month.

Ok Ok OK....we get the point. Some people think this a scam some people don't. Good points made all around. In fact, these good points have been reiterated so many times that it has become redundant. However Love Kitten does their business is fine with me as long as I get what order. If the membership price is reasonable and I see something I like, I'm gonna buy it. I could care less if they turn a profit or not. So all this speculating and such is pointless. We'll all see soon won't we? I agree with Love Kitten on this one, if you don't like it and don't trust it, then don't buy!

    Good Night.

I have no problem with Love Kitten, but I think B should have been given first shot as a new sponsor. She's been on SW since....like...2002? That means something as far as I'm concerned.
We welcome questioning sponsors and letting us know about problems with sponsors. BUT this thread is shocking, relentless, and based almost entirely on assumptions by Bridgette. If you're reading this thread for the first time - it has been cleaned. LKL simply was working with us BEFORE B asked to advertise. That is why they are here now. I had no problem with B advertising with us before reading this thread - I welcomed it with open arms. But I will NOT have a sponsor who tries to pick apart our other sponsors and discredit them.

For all of the ridiculous questions asked here - know that I have talked with LKL on numerous occasions. They have explained their model to me and it makes sense. I'm shocked some of these concepts haven't been grasped. As I said in my FIRST post - they are a membership based store. You pay a fee to shop with them like Costco - not a catch – it’s a business strategy. Anyone whose done business with FedEx knows you can negotiate based on volume. Sure FedEx isn't shipping for free, but they can give LKL a good price based on their membership volume. LKL then absorbs that cost from the fixed income they can estimate from their membership base. Lastly, membership is capped so they can maintain inventory and manage the store without either going out of control. It's a smart move to make sure they don't get in over their head and can properly support their customers.

Once their store is open, I will personally take complaints should you have any. I thank LKL for trying to deal with this bashing in a respectable way. My apologies for the behavior of some of our members and that I did not attend to this thread earlier. I am embarrassed on both accounts.

What I want to understand is... how can a business be running for the time they are saying and
    1. Not have an online shop or ebay account (if they do... please linky)
    2. Not have a shop to go to (If they do, I would have known, I am from GC and travel the whole coast looking for good sources for dancing - I have danced in basically all Brisbane and GC clubs - so I would have atleast once seen or heard the name re: cheaper shoes/lingerie in addition to going to almost every adult shop and seeing no traces of them
    3. Not have already set up business with fed.ex
    4. Why is the domain name regerstered to some one in AZ in the USA?
    5. Question revoked.... sorry Pryce
    6. Where is there ABN or ACN in addition to Registered busines number?
    7. How can they afford to ship from Australia to USA using fed ex free of charge to the customer
    8. How can they get the product to USA in the amount of time specified
    9. Why is there web site still not live, seeming as it is almost a month since they said they were going to be open in a fortnight
    10. If they are Australian and have the products in Australia, why dont they market to us here in Australia where a paid of shoes retails at about $150.00 a pair of shoes (some places start at a minimum of $200 - $400 for shoes)
    11. I will no doubt have other questions that I can think of...

    1. Yes, we have been in business for 15 years. We have many online stores all totally unrelated to this one and different business models.

    2. No, we don't have a shop we have a warehouse in an industrial area. We cater for large quantities not retail walk in.

3.We have been with Fed Ex for import and export for many years and have just renegotiated great rates for Love Kitten

    4. The domain name is registered to Love Kitten Lingerie and always has been.I have no idea what you are talking about.

    6. The ABN and registered business name as required by law is on the site when it goes live. Online merchant banking in Australia is extremly strict and they enforce strongly and rightly so, site security, privacy, contact details etc so you are dealing with the people you think you are dealing with not someone who has been around for 5 minutes.

    7. We deal with large volumes of freight both import and export under the one umbrella from many businesses and therefore we are given great discounts that we are able to offer free freight. Any cost's are absorbed thru the membership. UPS have now come on board so we can also offer free freight with them also.

    8. Both Fed ex and UPS offer a 2-3 service. The USA is only a 13 flight away.

    9. Succesful membership sites are marketed quite differently to your basic online store. They generally ask for expressions of interest 4-6 weeks out from launch. The pre launch phase is far more important than the launch as it allows for lot's of talk, interest, networking and most importantly curiosity. If you can imagine the amount of talk on this forum over 3 weeks then multiply that by 500 other various forums and that is a lot of people that will be very keen to at least check the site out once it goes live.

    10. We have selected USA and Canada as it is all about volume. 20 mil as opposed to 280 mil

I hope I have answered your questions and that will be it till we go live.

I will advise the day prior of going live to enable those wanting to join a first preference.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding what we are doing and when we go live you will find 99% of what has been said has just been plainly wrong.

We know we can't please everyone and we except that. We also accept the fact that you the customer at the end of the day will be the judge.

From this forum alone we have had an overwhelming response and we thank you all and look forward to some of you joining as members.

Once their store is open, I will personally take complaints should you have any. I thank LKL for trying to deal with this bashing in a respectable way. My apologies for the behavior of some of our members and that I did not attend to this thread earlier. I am embarrassed on both accounts.
Ok, Pryce. I think your answer is sufficient enough...but...BUT...I do agree with you that you should have attended to the thread earlier. For any person that spends any amount of time on the internet it's only natural for them to be cautious when something looks a little too good to be true. If they explained it in more detail to you (even if no details could be given) then you should have been on here reassuring everyone that they had been checked/double checked rather than just saying, "Hey, we have a new sponsor. "

Remember what happened last time a sponsor showed up in that right hand corner? Did they get such great reviews? I think we all know the answer to that question.

As for me, it's done and over. I have no desire to obtain any membership with LKL.

I'm not trying to be snippy with you here, Pryce. Like I said in an earlier post- I don't care one way or another about LKL. I can just see why people would be skeptical about all of this (without explanation and reassurance that it's actually the real deal).

    Default Re: New Sponsor

    I hadn't seen this earlier.

For the public record, since Pryce had to accuse here: I was NOT trying to pick them apart and discredit them. I had questions AS A CONSUMER, as stated previously in this very thread. I understand such things as buying clubs, volume discounts, shipping costs and strippergear prices. I'm not dumb. I asked questions (so did others), and many didn't get answered. Yeah, I had more questions than others, because I wasn't getting answers and because I have some background info to base my questions on. They accused me of being negative because I have a clothing website, which is what you've done Pryce. And then they proceeded to not answer repeatedly. Most people who responded here didn't seem to think I was so out of line.

Sorry for riling it up, but it wasn't for the purpose of discrediting them. I don't care if there are other sponsors here - more power to ya Pryce; I'd be the last one to expect you to only have one. There are other people selling strippergear on this website and I don't try to discredit them - in fact I sometimes BUY from some of them and have posted positive info on them. Hell sometimes I've posted links to OTHER sellers' stores, who are selling something someone has asked about. I am most certainly not trying to corner the entire SW strippergear market.

Oh and just in case you want to point me for playing a victim mentality. NO I'm just defending myself from the accusations you posted here.

This is all I'll ever say about this on the boards. You can count on it.
