i love them. very easy to talk to since they know how everything works. they clap enthusiastically for us, tip, and even buy a dance or two.
it's like when my boyfriend and i used to fight over mirror space to put our makeup on.

Haha about fighting over the mirror.I had a former male stripper come in a week or so ago....it was kind of weird but pretty cool.

I had a terrible experience with male strippers...we hired them at my old club to dance upstairs one night (it was about 7 of them) and I had to go upstairs to talk to the DJ and all but one, kept asking me to give him a hug and kept trying to feel on me. And then of course, are the overweight older men who come into my club and claim to be retired male dancers and then don't understand why I won't have sex with them even though we are in the same line of work.

You know a male stripper is losing his charm when he comes into a titty bar to pick upI'm not particularly fond of male strippers, most of the ones i've met have been total himbos...think Derek Zoolander

What I want to know is why do male strippers get more respect then female strippers? Why if a man goes to strip club he is a bad man; if a woman goes to male stripper show, she is liberated? BS to me. Perhaps cops should also raid the male stripper revue shows. Arrest those malehos.

There was a male stripper who came into my club..what an ass. He didn't buy dances, didn't tip. He was trying to soak up all the dancers time. If you're in the business, then OBVIOUSLY you know how stuff gets ran.

I find that most of them are faggots any damned way. Sorry if that's offensive, but seriously, I dated a stripper for almost a year, and most of his friends were double dippin'. They damn sure weren't trying to tip any female dancers.
All they were interested in was how they could get women to pay thier bills and buy them cars & clothes & manicures.

No they don't know how it is. Remember according to some of them they are not strippers, they are ENTERTAINERS. They don't strip they put on STAGE PRODUCTIONS. Yeah right, you are a stripper.Originally Posted by cinammonkisses

Now I could never date a male dancer... I could never trust him (talk about a double standard, but men are dogs). And Jayda's right, most of them are gay... just an observation, not a fact.
Heh, I agree that they aren't strippers, but not for those reasons. They aren't entertainers either. The ones at our club don't even come close to what the female dancers do in there. They suuuuuuck. And I've never seen anything resembling a stage production from any of them.Originally Posted by sassfire

On the local news there was a charity show where people can pay for the services of a male stripper. Note that ON THE NEWS, during the family discussion hour. Wasn't there a case where a charity refuse to take donations from a stripclub or hooters in california? Talk about double standards.
Well, they aren't erotic or really even sexy, so I can see that. There is no threat, they are more funny than anything. Men and women are certainly NOT equal when it comes to stripping. And yay for that, at least we have the upper hand in one industry.Originally Posted by sassfire

I know Andygirl. It just urks me that people condemn female strippers, but have no problem with male strippers. Plus some of the stuff that they do on stage would get a female dancer arrested in heartbeat.

the former male strippers i've met have always been good tippers. they know what it's like. also, they don't fucking waste your time. they understand when you need to go mingle with other customers.

Mostly agree. I bartended at a club that had a nightly Male Strip Revue. 90% of the time they where doing some cheesy choreographed act; although, I must admit some of the guys had some talent. The other time, the guys were on the floor soliciting dances for the girls. For the most part, I have observed that drunk female customers are way more aggresive and "handsy" with the male strippers than vice versa.Originally Posted by sassfire
I can recall only 2 openly gay men from the bunch. Now, I wouldn't be suprised if they did some occasional cock sucking in the bathroom after a line of coke or a shot of steroids in the ass.

Don't even get me started on touchy female custy. They are 100Xs worst then men who touch. Now this is where my touching theory does fall short. At least men will listen.Originally Posted by Lola Lee

I've known good and bad ones. They're just like anyone else, some are jerks and some are cool. Why are you all jumping all over the stereotype?
And male strip clubs are a different experience alltogether, women don't go for the same reasons as men, in general.
And I was assaulted by a male stripper once who thought he could take what he wanted because he was hot. Regardless, I know enough that are decent enough people.
Funny enough, when really buff, built guys in tight shirts came into the club, I would get intimidated. Not because I thought they were so hot, as it really isn't my type. I was just worried that they would be jerks and point out my imperfections. But I was wrong, the ones I did talk to were pretty cool.

Ohh okay, I'll buy that.
