I had brought up tip walks in a different view awhile back. Ive now worked a handful of clubs with tip walks and personally dont like it at all. I work during the day so that there is less time to spend going around to customer after customer for a dollar. Thus less customes in general. A dollar is the usual tip from a guy on the loop in a tip walk. Honestly, Id rather work the floor instead of spending the extra 10 min during the day shift walking for tips. Its not that I dont want their dollar I just wish it came with 19 other dollars for a dance instead.
I go on stage about once hour and then 10min tip walk afterwards. The max usually is about 6-8 girls on day shift working. I work for 6 hours and that amounts to approximately 1 hour (or more) of doing tip walks during my shift. However, there is another way is paying $75 for the house fee and not going on stage at all during your shift. If I am the only girl who doesnt do tip walks or go on stage how will that look to the customers? Just trying to maximize my money making time at work. Which way do you think is the best way to make the most money?
btw: dances are $20 and I keep all of it except 10% to the dj and 10% bouncers. The house fee varies by the time you start your shift from 0-40. I usually pay about 20.
