I've been tweaking a little, and something in the code is screwing up the appearance in Firefox. It looks "OK" the way I currently have it in IE, but in Firefox, not.
I'm using yahoo stores editor. I am very limited in what I can do with the code - yahoo stores puts in most of the code. This is fine for the most part as I don't want to get into coding the whole friggin store - more interested in selling.
Anyway, if you've looked at my page in IE and Firefox, you already see the problem. The logo and header text shoots off to the right in Firefox, but centers just fine in IE. WTF?
I am given a small field in which to enter text/code for the header area, and I've tried using css position:absolute/relative, tried using tables, and both come out looking funky in one way or another.
Can anybody make any suggestions here?
If you look at my source, here's the part I'm having trouble with (note that the part in bold is what the yahoo store software inserts, and I can't remove or change that - I CAN insert code into the head tags if necessary):
<br class="clear" /><h3 id="brandmark"><a href="index.html" title=" "> </a></h3><strong id="slogan"><table width="747" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" height="147">
<tr><td align="left" valign="middle"><a href="index.html"><img src="http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-74777450670486/Bridgettes-stripper-clothes-shoes.gif" border="0" alt="stripper clothes and shoes" title=" stripper clothes and shoes "></a>
</td>
<td align="right" valign="middle"><font color="#A75183"><h3><b>Bridgette's Stripper Clothes and Shoes<br>run for strippers,<br>BY a stripper</b></font>
</td>
</tr></table></strong>
How to make my header work in both IE and Firefox???![]()
