I'm flying out to LA on THursday night to film for the Tyra Banks show. They are doing a show on Teens in the Sex Industry. And since I'm 19 I'm perfect! I'm not sure when it's airing, but I'll be SURE and let everyone know!

Im curious how do you plan to represent yourself? Im definitely going to watch.

Wow-break down those barriers and give us a good name!!!! Hopefully they'll be nice to you-Tyra seems like she's pretty cool/open-minded-I do remember hearing about an episode where she posed as a stripper to help women understand why men go there-and, of course the whole fat-suit thing-I did see that one, and it was VERY interesting! Keep us updated!Originally Posted by metal_n_mitsu
Just remember what you are dealing with. Tyra is NOT open minded..the stripper episode basically consisted of her saying how sad strippers were and trying to get the cpl of dancers that went on to admit they were on drugs or sexually molested.
She said she felt dirty the second she went in the club and she was so saddened and frightened by how she felt more comfortable the longer she was there.(although she chickened out of going on stage)
The point of the show was to cut down strippers and "prove" that we are all pathetic.
I hate Tyra.
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

Wow-I did not know that. Alexa, proceed with caution!!Originally Posted by cameronfl
Yeah..it was pathetic. The biggest applause from the audience was when an "ex stripper" came on and said that she quit the biz and found God.Originally Posted by virgoamm

I saw that Tyra episode where she was a "dancer"and haven't watched the show since. Who the hell is she to judge dancers. You couldn't pay me enough to go on her show, but that's just me. I' be super surprised if she didn't try to make a mockery out of you like she does to everyone else. Please proceed with caution. Best of luck.
I'm going to make sure that she knows it is a classy business and that there are few select strippers who give a bad name to all of us and that I meet great people in the industry, I have made good friends, it's a boost of confidence, I was not abused, I do NOT do any drugs and I know a TON of strippers who are wonderful moms and have never even considered drugs. Dont' worry girls, i won't let you down!

Go get 'em, girl!

Someone better tape it for me!!!!!

Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."
Just remember, in case the urge to strangle her arises, go to your happy place and resist! Lol, don't forget to let us know when it's airing!!!!!
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

Please be careful of the whole "talk show" thing in general. They get you to say things you wouldn't normally say and they edit them to spin the story so it proves the point they were trying to make.
**shudders remembering her Montel Williams and Richard Bey appearances**
Sweet! I was contacted by them last year (Before her show even hit the air). They wanted me to be on their "Adult Mean Girls" show. I turned it down, though. I believe the Producer's (Michelle) number is still in my cell phone. Haha
Have a great time, and kick Tyra in the head for me![]()

I'm going to make a concious effort to not say anything that can be misconstrewed if cut or edited, etc. My sentences will be complete and I will just keep emphasizing the point that there are only a few bad strippers that gave us a bad reputation.

I wish you lots of luck and hope it goes better for you than it did for me and Paige.Originally Posted by metal_n_mitsu

Good luck! Be careful Tyra sucks at being a woman.
Just throw rocks at her for us ...please

Nothing big, just that they changed the theme of the show to get better ratings and really goaded you to fight with the opposing side. So, instead of me being the winner of the man who was casually dating a few girls, I became a "Happy Homewrecker". He was not married and he wasn't serious with the other girls (or me at the beginning either) so what was there to wreck? The original theme was supposed to be "How To Win The Man Of Your Dreams".Originally Posted by southstbabe

Oooh I gotta see this show.....Tyra annoys me with her "I'm all that and more" attitude. If they represent you wrong, I wonder if you can sue for slander?

awesome! Tyra seems to assume that all dancers are doing it because they have nothing else to fall back on...make sure to emphasize our education levels and other careers if you can! Blah i can not stand that lady.
