Scores, how does it all work?

So I live in North Carolina, but am from NY. I go up every holiday and I'm thinking about going to Scores for christmas. Is Scores the kind of club that will let entertainers come in for a night or two? What kind of dancing is it? What are the fees like?

^^^ This may not apply for every single dancer, but ...

in general Christmas / New Years in Manhattan is the highest earnings potential period of the entire year, thanks to corporate / Wall St bonuses being paid around that time

In general, the upscale Manhattan clubs have no shortage of local dancers trying to get hired throughout the year. Thus they do auditions by appointment.

In general, so many dancers are trying to work at upscale Manhattan clubs at any given time that most clubs operate on an advance booking schedule - a schedule that can run 2-3-4 weeks ahead. In the case of Scores, some girls are allowed to come and go as they please at any time, but others are limited to certain shifts on certain days.

also, the upscale Manhattan clubs typically already have some number of 'out of town' girls who have already been hired and have already danced at the club at some point in the past, many of whom are anxious to 'fly in' to Manhattan during Christmas / New Years week to cash in.

additionally, with Manhattan being as competitive as it is, there are a number of local girls who have 'faithfully' worked throughout the year at the upscale clubs i.e. they have 'paid their dues' by keeping the club rocking during the slow months when customers were fewer and earnings potential was lower. Clubowners are aware that one of the reasons that these girls kept working through the slow times was in anticipation of a big payoff during the busy times. Thus most upscale Manhattan clubs choose not to 'flood' their clubs with new dancers or lots of 'fly-in' dancers during the highest earnings potential week of the year, which would in effect take money away from the 'loyal' local dancers.

Of course, for exceptional girls, exceptions are made ! But in general, December is the worst time of the year for a 'new' girl to try and break into the upscale Manhattan clubs ... particularly so for a 'new' girl that won't be around come January or February !
