    Default Society...

Is lame for their stigma towards us - my inspiration for saying so is in the last 30 minutes I've seen two commercials - one is that burlington coat factory commercial where they are dancing on a "stripper" like stage to old style stripper music all fakke-sexily to advertise the clothes they are wearing. The other a victoria's secret commercial where the almost naked girls are sliding up and down a pole.....I bet no one sees anything wrong with those, right?

Gay. Don't use our hotness to advertise if you're gonna be hypocrites society, duh?

Advertising and the psyche. Subliminal messages. Sex sells.

Just remember one thing about society- conformity... many people will change their attitudes based upon behavior.

It seems odd, this disparity between advertising and reality. It always confused me how it's perfectly acceptable to be sexy, but not to be sexual.

I read this in a completely different post, but it sure rings true in this situation. As much as we would like to be accepted and not looked down upon by society, we make our living off of the fact that the vast majority of Americans are sexually repressed and frustrated. If America was more open-minded with sexuality and nudity, just think of what it would do to our profession. So let 'em stay that way!!
