    Exclamation War against Cellulite

Does any one know of any great ways to try to reduce the appearance of cellulite?
What kind of exercises really kick its ass? Special nutrition, etc?Of course no miracle creams can do it on their own. I heard Avon CelluSculpt is good, but nothing will really work unless you work out.
Any one battling cellulite right now?

I'm trying to get rid of cellulite on my butt.... grrr.... I just do the machines at the guy that work your butt muscles and the backs of my legs, and I do extra cardio on the eliptical machine to try to burn fat. It kinda sucks, because I don't really need to lose any weight. I'm 5'4 and about 110 lbs, but my butt is cellulite city.

I actually reada somewhere, don't remember, but you may find it...

Cellulite gets aggravated as you get skinnier. It starts to show more in chics who weigh less, lose weight, not in fat chics.

    Believe it.

Lower your body fat percentage. Increase muscle mass. The sucky part is that it's mostly genetic. So in order to decrease the appearance of cellulite, hydrate and use lotions with caffeine in them.

I scrub the area hard with a kitchen scourer. When I started dancing, one of the dancers was like, if you scrub the area in circular motions with the green side of a kitchen scourer every 2nd day, it helps flatten it out so it's less visible - she said she tested it with a few dancers and it worked. Worked for me, started noticing it about 2-3 weeks after I began. You have to keep doing it though. I stopped doing it for a month and it came back. Also after doing it, I use that Garnier stuff...I can't remember the name right now, comes in a yellow tube and is made specifically for cellulite, it seems to help.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE CELLULITE HAS LUCH AN ATTACH. i GOTTA GO AND GET THE SECRET WEAPON!

LOL I have the secret weapon. I give my self a body scrub at least twice a week. I use the gloves before I scrub in a cicular motion. I also use this cellulite cream. I tried to eat my veggies. I also use Cellu- Sculpt by avon.

get it massaged. i heard massaging with coffee beans is good - but not sure how true that is.
stay away from carbonated drinks and salty foods. cellulite is not from eating fat - thats why skinny girls get it too. it's to do with build up of toxins and the way that women store fat - notice how even fat men don't get cellulite?
    drink plenty of water.
i noticed some starting on the back of my legs and i got rid of it - i know people say u cant get rid of it but i sure did! i increased the amount of water i drink a day, stop eating potato chips and drinking coca cola, exercise more - squats are really good.

I went to this place once that did a body wrap on me, mostly my legs and butt and low back. They said the clothes were soaked in a bunch of stuff to make my skin softer and makes the cellulite less noticeable, but the main ingredient was caffine and some herb that helps draw toxins out of your body, or break them down, or something of that nature. I thought it was all bogus at first and did it because my mother in law bought me the sessions.
But it really did make the cellulite go away, for a bit. So there is something to this caffine theory.......

    this battles me too

im not giving up though...I had it alot when I was 16 and lost about 30lbs and walked alot by the time I was 19 (I was a waitress and always walking never sitting on the area that I had cellulite) and it went away completely...

im saving my money and am going to invest in the Murad topical wash/lotion.. and take the supplements but Im slowly buying the supplements on my own.. there really arent many
When I start this Ill let you know my progress..

I read his book and it makes sense as its a different approach.. Im not scientific so this is my interpretation but he says cellulite is caused by damaged cells.. the cell walls in babies (who have plump perfect skin) starts off with full healthy cell walls.. the water that fills them stays within the walls.. with age/diet/other things that cause damage to the cell walls .. causes the cell walls to get slack and start to leak.. cellulite is a the stuff that should be in the cell walls just "floating" around them.. hence the lump appearance..
So massage and ciruculation (probably why my constant walking and not sitting on my thighs/butt helped) can help move that stuff.. but supplements are needed to strengthen the cell walls to make them firm again

One scarey thing.. he said when you get slack cell walls . you can drink a gallon of water a day and still be "dehydrated" because so much is not being absorbed the way it should..

anyways.. the whole system is about 130$ for a month (which is time to see if there is any improvement at all) and the supplements are about another $130 or so but can be found at the health food store .. his just has them all in one pill ...

I have a list of the supplements if anyone wants them..

Has anyone tried the Murad system?
