    implants...losing feeling?

hey girls...Ok here is my deal...I got my implants done about 11 months ago, I went from about a B to a large C, everything is fine with the implants and I love them BUT im getting a little freaked out because I STILLLLL do not have feeling in my left nipple but i have feeling in my right nipple. Now my question is Did this happen to any of you girls and did u ever regain the feeling back overtime...I was told that I was still healing and I read that it can take up to 2 years to regain feeling...Im curious to know if this happened to anyone and did you regain your feeling...if so how long did it take..Thanks alot xoxoxox

That would scare me too! Call your doctor, you should definatly look into that, and the doc is the best person to talk to about your individual case.

that's supposedly one of the risks of the surgery. It might not come back.

I vaguely remember that, but I wasn't too worried about it. I didn't think you could loose ALL feeling, just some...

mine increased, almost to the point of it being uncomfortable for the first month or so, just after all my stitches were out. Now it's still more, but not soooo much.

Still, it cant hurt to make a call to them.

I had the same problem. The feeling in my right boob came back within a week, the left is still a bit numb but is coming back gradually. The doctor told me it can take a while to regain feeling.

I had mine done a month and a half ago, and I lost feeling in my boobs from my nipples down. I'm waiting to see if it comes back...I hope so!

My nipples are way more sensitive now than they were pre-BA and it is almost annoying! I would ask your doctor about it.

At first my nipples were super sensitive but then they lost most feeling. I regained that back but I couldnt feel anything below the nipples in both breasts. I just got it back like 2-3 months ago. I forget but its in my blog. I agree with Emily its one of the risks of surgery.

nerve regeneration is a 'crap shoot'. Sometimes you wind up with more sensitivity, sometimes less. Time will tell, as there isn't a lot which can be done to remedy the situation other than waiting to see what happens.
