There's some fucking amazing moves I want to learn and put into a well designed choreography for some of my shows.
Where do I hire someone and how?
Do I interview them and see what they can do?
How much should I expect to pay?

Do you know any of the more seasoned showgirls?? Can you ask them??
That is what I do... I watch their shows and then ask them to teach me the move afterwards.
The girl I learn from is $100 for an hour and a half... but that is in Sydney...
Of course I brought the diamante cuffs.... Silly Daddy...

Is that polite? I mean, we work for the same agencies so I'd be essentially ripping her off... it wouldn't be a good business move on her end.
And I don't want to learn 'the move'... I want them choreographed with my music for optimum results... only a choreographer can really do that.
Besides, since I'm her competition, wouldn't it be in her best interested to teach me incorrectly?

Also, keep me in the loop girl as we need to come up with a somewhat chero yet flexible duo routine. At the moment it is totally utterly "freestyle"Not that it is a bad thing as the client(s) don't seem to notice nor really be too concerned however it will add to the look of the whole performance overall. Even if only the first song or song and a half is chero then we basically freestyle from there.
Also, if you are after chereo for private party shows then you only really require the first song or song and half chereo as after that you generally use the victim(s) as your main prop and go from there.
As for pub shows, there really is no need to be too chereographed. They work best un-chereographed anyway as each pub is different.
The only time chereography is really called for is during competitions to be honest and/or if you are part of a dance troupe.

Yeah I just thing it adds that little *touch* to it plus I could learn some new moves.
I'll work with you on it when I get the chance... thanks for those companies, I'll email them.

I have been thinking about hiring a choreographer. Or maybe learninng how to do some magic tricks. I need something new to do! I want to play with snakes. I wonder where do you get one in the states? How much it will cost for the whole session.
