    Default Body fat???

    What is a good body fat percentage to have so you look lean but still with a few curves? I know this is a crazy question but i have just started at the gym not long ago and im not sure what is a good bf% goal to work for.
    my stats are
    167cm
    22% BF
    63 Kg

    I am hoping to get down to about 57kg and about 17%bf is this a realistic goal and is an 1hour of cardio 3 time a week 3weight trainig days a 1 2 hour cardio and toning session enough to achieve this in a short periode of time. Thanks

    All subjective. Since everyone distributes body fat differently, the same percentage can look totally different on different people. In my case, I look freaky when I get below 16%. It's just a matter of seeing what works on your body.

    I feel you kitty. Everyone says I look fabulous because I was too skinny before, but like you I'd also like to tone up. I think the best way to achieve desired resuts in this state of mind is to forget all the numbers. Work out to see results you like. When you feel fabulous, then maintain that. Numbers are just that: numbers. They don't account for so many varying factors.

    anywhere between 16-25 % body fat is ok for females.
    16% is what an athletic woman would have.
    as for the cardio - u could do all the cardio in the world but if u are not eatin g the right foods it won't help. have u got some dietary advice? there is usually someone knowledgeble at the gym who you can speak to.
