go smile is awesome, but for the money id rather just go and get it done in an office.

i tried it once but my teeth are too stained for it to work. it did lighten them slightly and without sensitivity.

I haven't tried go smile, but I can tell you that my dentist asked what I had been using to whiten my teeth, and when I told him I was using crest whitestrips he said that they always recommend those to people who ask about teeth whitening before they spend the money to have him do it. He said it takes a little longer with the whitestrips, but you get close to the same results.

^ I just started using the Crest w/strps. I got the classic kind, they are supposed to be a good starter kit. Kmart had 'em on sale for $17.00, & I had a 5.00 off coupon. So far I really like 'em, my teeth are very sensitive tho, so I only use once a day & I skip a day or two

Personally, I think it would be a waste of money for what it costs. I'm also a dental hygienist along with being a dancer and there is nothing on the market to my knowledge so far that will whiten crowns (caps) or veneers. With it saying that it's proven to whiten crowns or veneers, that shot up a red flag to me because every dentist I've worked for has always stressed to the patients that when whitening your teeth, it won't whiten white fillings, crowns or veneers. The reason we stress that to our patients is because many of them want to get their teeth whitened but may already have a crown that matches their current tooth color, so it would look odd to have a bunch of really white teeth and 1 darker one.

I personally wouldn't recommend it to a patient unless I personally tried it first and saw the results on several patients. If you're going to spend $89, you might as well invest a little more and get the real deal at your dental office, like the trays, Zoom, Brite Smile or simply spend like $30 and get the Crest Strips. I think the Crest Strips are the best and most effective over the counter.

(A little tip about anything about dental products; Dental Product Companies can claim their product does this or that (even if it doesn't) as long as it doesn't cause harm to the consumers. The true way to know a product does what it says it does is by having the American Dental Association (ADA) stamp of approval on the box. If the stamp isn't on the box, the product probably doesn't truely do what it says it does.) I learned this in school and was shocked by it!!!! Hope this info helps!

Yeah I have used it. I like it a lot, just because its really easy to use, but I cannot compare it to the other brands for you. I got the on the go pack which was for like 6 litlte capsules and around 30 dollars bc I wanted to try it out, and it works pretty well I think.

Oh man, when I first started using them my teeth were so sensitive I couldn't even breath through my mouth! It does get better though. Still, I never use them twice a day, just once a day for several days and the results are fine.

I used them and they were a pain in they ass and they didnt work. Crest white strips, while also a pain in the ass, worked better.

    I LOVED the GoSmile capsules.

Then again, I bought that whole 10-shades-in-7-days kit and definitely used them WAY more often than I was supposed to. It's hard to NOT be happy when your teeth are amazingly freaking white after only 3 days.

If you go into a Sephora store and ask, they will usually give you a GoSmile capsule as a "sample" of the product. That one alone made my teeth at least 3 shades lighter. No joke. If you go to gosmile.com, it's much cheaper to buy then @ Sephora. The only problem is it's a subscription type thing, like Proactiv. They automatically send you a new kit every 3 months unless you call them to cancel.

GoSMile is the shit. I have really sensitive teeth usually (Crest whitestrips made my teeth hurt BAD) and had no problem with these. My chompers are movie star white!

I tried the Whitestrips a few months ago and I was in agony because they hurt my teeth so much. I would put a strip on, and 30 seconds later I would get a burst of pain so horrible that I had to rip it off and rinse out my mouth immediately. I went to the dentist to ask about their whitening process, but he said that if the whitestrips hurt me, his process will hurt me even more... So since I'm a wuss and can't take it, I have to accept my teeth as they are

I HATED the whitestrips. Made my teeth hurt SOOOO bad. Could barely eat anything.

I realy like gosmile. I keep some in purse as little refreshers if I go out and have red wine or something. They're great!

I'm definitely buying goSMILE..It sounds great.

My teeth are insanely sensitive, so I don't want to try Crest Whitestrips. I know they'll work, but the pain isn't worth it.

can't you just numb your mouth with baby teething gel and then whiten your teeth. i did that once when i was younger because i had a lot of dental work that needed to be done.

    ^^^
For me, it's not so much during the procedure it hurts; I can stand the pain for 30 minutes a day to look better. But for, God I don't know, WEEKS afterwards I whitened with Crest, I couldn't drink any hot/cold food liquids without CRINGING in pain (I wish I were exaggerating). GoSmile, for whatever reason, does not affect my teeth sensitivity at all. I was able to chow down on Ben & Jerry's 'Everything But The..' (insert plug for ATF ice-cream) right after I whitened without feeling shit.
