Default VEGAS DANCE CARD(couldnt find answer to this)

i know that when you get a sherriffs card in Vegas that they take your social security number. does this mean that they are going to be sending you tax forms every year to fill out & if you dont fill them out , that they will come looking for you? im just wondering cause my friend and i are planning a trip to vegas, but we are only going to be there for a week, so it would suck if the dance cards increased our chances of being audited or something? thanks...also will this dance card come up on background checks and ruin any chances of ever getting professional work?

A sherrifs card is required to work anywhere in Vegas. Its not just a "dance card" it has nothing to do with the IRS, or taxes....but to dance in Vegas you also need a business license, which does have to do with the IRS. No- they wont come after you...but it is a good idea to pay your taxes. However, if your only here for a week, I wouldnt worry to much about it.

As for the Sheriffs card...it doesn't hurt your chances of getting other work, it doesn't come up in a backround check as far as I know, but its just a card saying you can work in Vegas. Its not just for dancers. I have used the same Sheriffs card to work as a cocktail waiteress in casinos. You either get a gaming card, or non gaming(meaning there is a card for casino dealers, and a card for everyone else, but its not specific to dancers.)

I have the non-gaming sherriff's card too. But isn't there a different one if you work in a nude place? That's what I heard. I have no idea if that's true or not.

I have not heard that, but I dont think it would be different, since you can either get gaming or non gaming.
Now..I know that to work in a brothel, you need a certian card that states "prostitute" on it...but Im not sure if that is a Sheriff's card or some other type of card needed for that type of thing.
