    Default Just for work

Does any else lose weight just for work purposes?

I seem to always make more money when Im fit looking. To be honest I like my body the way it is right now. But losing those last 9 lbs in my mind will make me more money. To have those fit abs and next to nothing love handles would be nice - but just for work purposes only. If I wasnt dancing I wouldnt be trying to lose weight right now but just maintaing my current weight instead. If it wasnt for work Id stress alot less about my body.

Same here. I tend to keep myself a lot thinner when I'm working the clubs than I normally do for a desk job.

Size 0 for dancing and size 3 for desk jobs is ideal for me since it's hard to find good business clothes in a size 0.

Of course you are going to be more aware and critical of your body when you have to bare it for strangers to make a living. And you making more money probably has more to do with your attitude and confidence level then with the 9 pounds...

I have it in my mind I need to be super thing and tight body...

Well the girl who won best body at MNC this year isnt a tight body, shes soft curvy and sexy as hell.

They score out of 10 for body... more then one judge gave me a 10.. im soft, curvy and womanly.

Its not all about the size 0 tight abs looking like a man anymore. Even magazines are leaning towards the soft curves.

By soft curves I dont mean rolly.. I mean slim but not defined muscles.

Size 0 with tight abs does not always mean looking like a man. It's about the frame size, I believe. Some women, myself included, have such tiny frames that size 0 is just the lower end of the slim ratio whereas size 3 would be the high end.

My frame is so tiny at 5'2", that I have to wear baby bracelets and my ring finger is a size 4. I would also consider myself curvy. When I go up to 120 lbs or close to it, I look like a blimp.

Im 5'2" barefoot.. if I was a size zero I would look anorexic lol. But thats how im built.. I have slightly wider hips(and no ass) and broad shoulders so if I have a tiny size zero waist I would look unporpotioned. Im 115ish pounds.. with a 34C chest(god damnit this time last year I was a 36DD!)

Im not saying that skinny isnt the way to be, im saying that the whole tight abs thing isnt how you HAVE to be anymore, not that there is anything wrong with having a tight body. But I hear more and more guys say 'tight defined bodies dont turn me on'.

You can be skiiny and in shape and not have defined abs.

My waist is 26 inches... if I go much smaller I will look sick... I could stand to have a little more tone... but im also happy with how I am and I dont plan on starving myself to get it, if it comes it comes, if it doesnt im not hanging myself.

The whole point I was making is you dont need to worry yourself sick and starve yourself because what guys are looking for now is the softer body(and I dont mean rolly polly thong lost in the roles) and curves are your friend! LoL

^^^I agree with the not starving yourself to be a certain size. One size does not fit all in this case!

Cally, you're just like my friend Kellie. She's the same height as me but built broader than I am. We could be the same weight and she will always run 2 sizes bigger because of her build.

I didn't take offense to what you said, BTW. Was just pointing out that sizes run the gamut and people should pay attention to how they look and not the label.

Yeah, so basically, we were saying the same thing!

P.S. - If you want some ass, I've got plenty to spare so come and get it. I am a skinny girl with a definite bubble butt.

I am the same way. Currently I'm trying to figure out how to lose weight, or tone up, or whatever the hell I'm supposed to be. It gets confusing, because once you tone up, you wonder if you're 'toned enough' or 'skinny enough' which are all relative. Oh well. I'm not giving up my pasta any time soon lol.

I remember when my boobies started to shrink. i've been gaining weight so I'm back up to like 150lbs. I LOVE it! Weighing this much fits me. Most people don't believe that I weigh as much as I do.

I'm about to start working at a new club, so Im' kind of worried as to how they will accept my bodytype. So before I go to audition, I want to drop some weight. I want to drop 25lbs..but I know I'd probably look sickly and I 4 dam sure am not trying to lose my boobies. They are my selling point

I dont care how much I weigh as long as Im not nasty lookin. I just had a baby and got a LIL bit of a belly...its flat when i stand up straight, but i would still dance in a 2 piece and give no thought to it now. It will get back to the nice abs as I dance,if thats what my body wants to do!

As far as toning up (above ^^ post) I think dancing will do just right toning u up to look like..a dancer. I dont think guys really wanna see a stick thin girl, who naturally is supposed to have a little meat on her bones. Ya know?

    I dunno.
I don't really diet at all. I would like to make some room in my life for more exercise because I would like better cardio health and I would like to be strong - but that is very result/action oriented, not about appearance.
I don't think I would be happy with my appearance, work-wise, no matter what I looked like, honestly. In my mind EVERYONE has a better physique than I do, whether they are thicker or thinner. Sometimes I look at myself and I look skinny and sometimes I look chubby. It completely depends on your purposes and what your comparator is.

I actually made an effort to gain weight for this job. When I first started dancing I was 5'10 and 115. Now I weight 130 and everyone tells me I look more "womanly". I still have the same waist but I am much more defined and my curves pop out more. I wouldn't mind gaining 5-10 more pounds of quality (mostly muscle) weight.

I have always been very body conscious, and even when I don't dance I feel the need to keep in shape But if not dancing I do tend to slack off more, out of laziness rather than a lack of caring

something that isnt legal. steroid to get body fat down. I went from 19 percent to 11 percent body fat while using it.

of course i also put my reps up and increased my time in the gym. I don't recommend using it though.

Are you referring to Deca Durabolin? Didn't that give you any problems with your clitoris starting to grow, facial hair developing or your voice becoming lower?

Sure, when I was going to travel to dance, or was about to go on a serious hustle run, I would work out more and eat less beforehand, to optimize my bod.

Of course when I was working really hard, during travels and such, I would work 10 hours a day, and then still pig out at the end of the night!

I did just as well with a little extra winter belly. But for places like Vegas, I made an effort beforehand, for confidence purposes.

Now, hahaha, I'm a fat sack o shit!! But I still weigh 115 and look fine. I am just not as comfortable taking my clothes off at the drop of a hat like I would a year ago, lol

Oh boy, I've put all kinds of crazy drugs in my body, so I am not one to talk, but steroids scare me! Hell, I won't even take Tonalin if I'm not working out.

Does Deca, and other androgyns (or whatever it is) actually cause body fat reduction, or just muscle mass gain?
