    Default Epilator recommendations

The last time I tried one was the Epilady and I could only get one hair out before I quit.

I think I can handle it better this time around, hopefully.

If anyone uses one, what brand do you recommend and how short can the hair be? Thanks

Is this the thing that sands the hair off??? If so, my mother bought me one, I used it a few times, each trying to both get the hair out, and not burn the shit out of my skin. It always left me burning- tough it'd be like an hour before I would start to feel it, and it left little black dots where the root of the hair was still in my legs. I didn't like it at all.

It shouldn't be that sounds worse, sort of. This thing is supposed to rip the hair out by the root. Like waxing, but one hair at a time with a coil.

I've waxed now several times and the hair is growing back less, just figured it would be easier than waxing.

Braun all the way. Epilady sucks balls and made me bleed.

I have one, the brand is Emjoi. I won't use it under my arms or on bikini area, too painfull. There's a new one out, you can switch it from epilator to shaver, & I think it's around $50.00. Sorry I can't think of the name, but think Ulta may have it.

I was looking at the Braun, the newer models have it where you can make the head smaller for "sensitive" areas. I wonder?

Do you prefer it to waxing and how is the pain?

Don't bother with all the Braun features like "training epilators." I got one with interchangeable shaver and epilator heads, and it's all I need.

Do you guys who use one find it produces nice, smooth results like waxing?

    It got delayed.

I love this thing so much. What happens if the electricity goes out???

I wish I had gotten one right after that fucked up epilady Christmas my sister got it....

My underarms are so smooth - I believe less painful than when I waxed, now, it could of been my amateur first time wax job. Love it.

    Thank you for your help.

so the braun doesn't hurt too much? I want to get one too, but yeah I'm totally afraid of chickening out if it hurt so much and I don't want to blow 60 bucks on something if I end up not being able to use it.
