    Default Hypocritical Much?

So my club has been sold. New management came in 2 weeks ago to clean house. No big deal, we need it. But I think they're moving in the wrong direction. They plan on a major remodel. Still no big deal, but they also plan on changing our rinky-dinky redneck strip club into a classy upscale club.
    • I've lived here all my life & we ARE NOT classy and upscale
    • Businessmen DO NOT come to a town of less than 3000 to visit a strip club when the big upscale clubs are just an hour away

The new managers girlfriend just so happens to be a dancer too. Our club is wild/energetic, and we work hard for our $1 tips on stage because we have fun while doing it. The money isn't that great, but we understand our location isn't the greatest either (for large spenders at least). The managers girlfriend doesn't like when we take dollar bills out of custy's pants (we stuff it just inside the top or through a belt loop) or when we lift a female custy's shirt up to take the dollar from between her boobs (again, no real touching - just a "show"). She thinks it's tacky and she wants to eventually run that out along with any rap and R&B music. We've seen her, herself, dance however, and I've seen her do things I consider much more tacky. For instance, she'll rub her fingers up and down her vajay-jay and then suck her finger, or she'll lick up and down a custy's beer bottle simulating head...or she'll rub herself all over and scream as if she's having an orgasm. I just don't understand how what we're used to (& works for us) is so tacky, but what she does isn't?

What do you think? What are some moves that you consider tacky?

I love how people bend rules to suit themselves. Like, yeah "I'm the new manager at ___________ store. Oh wait!! Along with myself being the head of the new mngmt team, so comes my trashy/tacky girlfriend!!!! AND SHE'S AN EMPLOYEE TOO!!!!! And don't think that we ever speak about people she's jealous of, that would NEVER happen!!! HAHAHAHAHAH How convenient!!!

I think both acts are tacky . To each his own but I don't like the simulated sex crap , it crosses the line for me . I like a classy club , my first club once we were naked we could not even bend over past our knees ..............dollars in the pants is a bit much BUT the finger sucking is nasty
Don't you just love me ?!?

With proper advertising and promotions, business travelers WILL visit a rural area club IF it has a proper well kept appearance comparable to better major city spots. Small town club owners need to realize that about 1/3 of their business should come from out of town passers by, and that out of town people spend the most money.

The run down redneck look is what was keeping the better customers away. I book in small town clubs, and in some of the ones near an intersate that city guys will come in and actually prefer it to the overpriced facade clubs in the city.

I don't agree with changing the stage shows or the music though. That is eliminating the fun from the club, and may decrease the amount of local business.

As far as the managers girlfriend goes, she needs to go.LOL.

As far as I'm concerned, anything that you do onstage that you would be embarassed to look at yourself, get owl eyes over, or turn your nose up at if you were watching on the other end might be considered tacky and tactless.

If I'm having fun than I do what's comfortable for me, that's different for everyone, but I don't want to make other customers or dancers feel uncomfortable because my stage act is raunchy.

So I dance as if I am being videotaped, in other words, if my performance was ever played back for me to watch I wouldn't be like "oh hell nah I did that, that looks crazy."

Don't assume my club is run down because I said it's redneck and rinky-dinky. It's actually very pretty and well kept, just small and located in farmers paradise. They plan to remodel the rear of the club where the girls and the stage are. The rest of the club has recently been remodeled (log siding, new flooring, etc..). We hold a great location in terms of semi-locals (about an hour radius away), but farther than that, there is much more of a variety available. Local-locals are actually pretty rare - We live in the center of the bible belt & the town is deadset against the club being there. Businessmen have come into the club, on occasion, but they are few and far between. Not because the club sucks right now, but because there is nothing in this area to bring the businessmen, at least big shot ones. They sure aren't staying at a local hotel, we only have a few in a 40 mile radius, and they suck. Big spenders could afford much better. We do get, however, a lot of truckers/vacationers (prime deer hunting ground) that come in frequently. Family lives near-by, vacation home, etc, etc.

I have absolutely no problem with them coming in and remodeling or even cleaning house, but don't change us to something we are not, and that's upscale. We're middle of the road now, & we all like it that way. I've ben at this club since it opened, been though 3 owners in one year. We need change, I just think they're taking it to far.

I don't worry about tacky so much; I would worry that one customer in ten would be repulsed by someone else's saliva on his beer.

Although maybe she plans to stop doing some of that stuff when you become "classy". You could just ask - nicely - if that is case.
