Default Can't say enough about Botox

even though i haven't had any put in my face (yet), it always pleases me when doctors find new uses for Botox ie. migraines and now...

ta-dah... injecting it into the wombs of women who have brutal period pain. good on Sydney University... injecting botox for our own good..

I got botox in my face one time and it was very weird. My eyebrows felt heavy and I got a lot of headaches. And it only lasted about a month and a half, which I was glad of because I wanted rid of it, but it is supposed to last three months. The good thing it did was stop my eyebrows from sweating. Weird stuff.

My grandmother gets botox injections into her larynx. she has an awful tremor and the botox helps her voice come out a little less shakily. amazing how many new ways they use it.

    Love it!

I've thought about getting it to stop my pits from sweating, but I'd imagine not sweating might not be good for your body. Maybe not, since there are a ton of other sweat glands throughout your body. Do they overcompensate?

Interestingly I saw an old interview with dystonia patients on tv a few months ago and they commented that although botox had helped them to live much more normal lives, they felt the injections had aged them much faster.

Perhaps paralyzing the uterus is not a healthy thing for women who may become pregnant (i.e. - women who might suffer from heavy cramps are most often NOT on the pill).
    Just something to think about.
