Funny you posted this. I just ordered his book yesterday so after I read it I'll let you know if I try whatever he says to do and if it works. From what I've heard it sounds like he suggests a healthy way of eating so that can't hurt to try.

    coolio
I bought the book about a year ago and have been trying the supplements (just get them by themselves at the store) but not doing it regularly ..figure if i buy the system it will force me to do a routine... and like you said no bad can come of it as it seems sound info but it would be nice to know if it really makes an outward difference..there are gobs of testamonials on the web but who knows who those people are .. would be good to hear first hand experience
the website has an interesting slideshow on how cellulite/stretchmarks develop..
the comparison of baby plump skin and cellulite skin seems interesting.. looking at what the cells ect of a babies skin looks like and comparing them to cellulite damaged skin.. and then building your health back so the cells get more inline with how they used to be.. .. anyhoo please post how it works for you ill be getting it after christmas so when i start ill post what i find too

yeah, I tried to research him and it's hard to tell if what you find is bullshit or not. I even tried to search for "Dr. Murad fraud" and see if I found anything bad about him and couldn't. So we'll see. I'm going to probably try it after the holiday is over since there is no way I can keep a strict diet all the way through Xmas!

I take the cellulite vitamins and they work for me. But I also started exercising and drinking lots of water. I bought the serum and the cream and they didn't work.

thanks for posting your experience with these things
did the cream/serum not work for the cellulite/stretchmarks but make your skin smoother than stuff you'd buy at CVS?
in the early 90's GNC had a cellulite pack thing that had all the outer body creams using seaweed.. it was pricey and didnt do anything for cellulite but made my skin so ultra smooth

To be honest don't waste your money on the serum and the cream. Avon has a much cheaper cellulite cream that makes the skin more taut, it's called cellu-sculpt. But exercise, water, massaging and the vitamins are great.

    ^^^
Cellu-Sculpt has been discontuinued! They have a new "problem solving" lotion that supposedly fixes stretch marks and cellulite, but it doesn't work half as well, IMHO. It just has more shimmer to make you LOOK better while you have it on.

Oooh! I had never heard of this. Over the past year I have been "growin" *barf* cellulite all over my lower butt/upper legs. I am definately going to give this a try and will post my progress/results.

Some suggestions: check out makeupalley.com reviews, Ulta has Murad samples (altho the ones I got are for facial skincare).
I honestly, truly believe (from lots of reading & exp.) that cellulite is truly incurable, altho some things can improve the skin's appearance/reduce the look of it.

I dont have an answer for cellulite but i cant give up on it..
Im 34 now but honestly when I was 15 I had cellulite bad...
I remember when Id sit down and this sounds weird but look under my legs to see what my under thighs looked like I just saw nasty bumps and dimples.. I had cellulite up and down my thighs even if I didnt pinch..
    I am 5/8 and was around 145
When I was 19 I went on a volunteer trip for the summer and the food was nasty.. I was 128 by the time I got back and still had the cellulite.. I think it was in October.. Then I took a job waitressing.. Id eat once a day a pile of french toast as I worked at a breakfast place.. but I was walking nonstop.. even when Id get home Id take a couple mile walks to go to a bookstore by the lake
I think it was April the next year and I was down to 122 and one day looked in the mirror and was like holy shit I look great.. I didnt have a dimple on me.. not even when I squeezed ..
I think age had alot to do with it and the fact that I moved nonstop ..all that circulation.. whatever it was it did prove to me that once you have cellulite.. it "Can" go away..
Im in a whole nother boat now.. way older and have yo yo dieted for the past 10 years so who knows if my body will ever go back but I can say at one time in my life it did go away so I know it can.. at least under the righ circumstances

pennygirl I'm your same age and I've had it for as long as I can recall. I can recall hating my thighs around age 11 or 12 so I assume it was there then. I just carry all my fat there and it dimples and looks gross. I just got my Murad book today. The tesitmonials and info in the book seems for real but could they get away with making that shit up? I am totally skeptical. I'm going to try it though.

The best cellulite lotion I've tried is Jergen's skin firming lotion. It's cheap, and it may be more of the exercise and water but I have no cellulite now. You do have to use it every day, I quit for about a week because I was lazy, and I started to notice some ripples But I started using it again and the ripples are gone. Some people can't use it though. A friend of mine breaks out from it BAD.

I just wanted to bump this up and see if you've had any luck with this Pennygirl or anyone else. I just ordered the vitamins and I'm going shopping tomorrow for a lot of the foods listed in the book. It's all healthy stuff anyway and I've been eating like a lard ass lately so it'll be good for me anyway if nothing else.

hi.. im glad you posted again
I got my $200 sephora gift card for christmas but was only able to buy the vitamins and the body scrub.. I hate starting something without all the pieces in place but im going to otherwise i will put it off.. I started the vitamins Saturday but then wasnt home yesterday .. so will start a gain today and be good about taking them.. i do use the scrub a couple times a day (Says just 2-3 times a week) but its not too harsh and it really is good.. im hoping to get the serum and lotion to complete the mix in the next week or so when I save up
the eating part will be hard .. but im going to try that too.. i need to find a list of the foods again..i gave the book to my mom.. i think i can find it online..let me know how you do.. it probably will take a few months .. but that is good we have about 4 fat months before shorts season

Since this thread is in regards to cellulite I'm going to post the reasons you get it in the first place, maybe that will help.

Genetics: does your mother or grandmother suffer from this condition?

Lack of exercise: by following a strength training and cardiovascular program, you'll be able to lower your bodyfat as well as increase muscle tone, both of which can reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Diet: poor eating habits (including the excess consumption of alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods) can contribute to the formation of cellulite because the toxins they produce get trapped in the fatty tissue.

Insufficient water intake: water helps flush excess toxins from the body. Aim for at least 12 cups of water per day.

Birth control pill: this is because the body's waste system can't get rid of the enormous flow of estrogen in the body.

Smoking: you don't need me to tell you the evils of smoking, but perhaps you didn't know it can also contribute to cellulite formation. Smoking can weaken the skin due to the constriction of capillaries and damage the connective tissue that causes the dimpling effect of cellulite.

Stress: stress can cause muscles to seize up with tension while also causing the connective tissue that covers that muscle to seize up. Tension also blocks the tissue, preventing proper waste elimination and purification.

I went shopping and got a lot of the foods he lists. It's all healthy stuff like berries and fresh veggies and chicken and fish so it certainly can't hurt. I need to eat healthier anyway. I've been slipping a lot and eating crap lately. I ordered his vitamins and I'll try those too.

i think alot of the health reasons make alot of sense.. that was listed in the post
I think diet though makes sense too and the vitamins..the skin is an organ and can only do its thang if it has the right tools..
im doing the fresh veggies thing blah blah ..the fish/chicken/eggs part is hard because im not a big meat eater.. i think he said cheese?? i can do that
also found this site about skin stuff.. i used this program when it was at gnc in the early 90's .. i was pretty thin then and didnt have much issue and really only noticed it made my skin super soft.. but the website has recipes and exercise things.. http://www.anushkaonline.com/
just bypass all the product endorcements
i also read 75 % food all fresh and whole grain
the other 25% your good proteins
i think weve all heard this before but doesnt hurt to hear it a million times again its inspiring to me
