So I'm thinking of trying to dance again...but lousy time to audition or great time. I mean great potential ...Xmas and all but surely it'll be so competitive and clubs wont be taking newbies on now? What do you think?

I know itll be hell wont it?!!
I got an audition a couple weeks ago and have not had a chance to work yet and the club has called me 4 times to get shifts from me so Im sure you wont have a problem![]()

No better way than to throw yourself into the fire. No training needed.. the real deal and a whole lotta competition.
you live like an ivy vine
you can only survive by clinging onto trees
that's your flaw
put down some roots so you can stand on your own

It can't hurt, even with all the competition, it'll be more money than you're making by not working, unless you have another job. Even if you did it part time, it would be extra money to help pay for xmas presents or whatever. Go for it!
The reason why most clubs are concerned with hiring girls during "the peak season" is because they don't want someone who will just come in for a few weeks, make their money and then quit. It wouldn't be fair to the girls who have stuck around during the summer or other times when business is slow...so as long as you make it clear that you're not just going to be there seasonally, you'll have a better shot at getting hired.![]()

*knock on wood* So far at my club, there have been slightly less dancers- some of them are busy with the holidays and a whole bunch went out of town to visit family.
So you might as well go in and give it a shot.
