i was wondering if most dancers have a routine for LD's?
my dance manager said she danced for 9 years and she didn't even realise that she had a routine until her regular actually informed her that he knew her routine - he still enjoyed it though!
i have been dancing for 5 weeks now and while i have a few moves that i repeat over and over i haven't really established a routine as such and sometimes during the 3 song dances i start thinking oh shit what next and i worry that repeating the same moves over and over will bore the customer.
is it better to repeat similar moves (by the way it's an air dance club) and keep changing what u are doing or is it better to do everything way slower and for longer so that u don't repeat the same thing?
this is basically my "routine":
1st song: dance in front of customer sensually, little peeks like revealing a bit under the dress but not removing it, turn around bend forward revealing the butt a bit. then i remove the dress while sitting on my chair (i cant work out how to do it standing without falling over)
dance in bra/bikini and thong in front of customer, come close to customer (we have a distance rule though)
2nd song: rermove bra/bikini, sensually dancing - hips rolls, runnning hands up and down body, turn around doing hip rolls with butt facing customer
i usually have thong off during second song - too early?
then sit back on chair, running hands down body etc
then i just repeat everything over and over heaps until the end of the third song - dance in front of customer, turn around - butt facing customer, go up a bit close etc.
does this sound boring?
should i slow the whole thing down so that im not repeating over and over?
i don't think i have a routine as such i just try to keep moving but i feel that it might get boring or repetitive.
