    Default Why is it....

that on some nights it's like everyone wants you, you can't keep up with the amount of customers that are approaching you and stuffing money in your garter and then on other nights, it's like nobody wants you, nobody tips you at the stage, etc.? Lately I've been getting either one extreme or the other. I'll have a great night where I can't keep up with everyone or I'll have a night where I'm left alone on stage. Does this happen to all of you too? What do you do about it? Is there anything you can do about it? On nights that I don't get attention on stage, it's hard to have a good night because unless we're in VIP for a minimum of an hour, we're on stage every 30 min with about 4-6 other girls, so you can imagine when you're the only one not getting tipped it can wear on your little ego after a while. Lately, over the past week and a half, it's been like that each time I go in.

It's been like that for me lately too. I only work weekends right now, but it seems like one night, no one is interested in me and the next I can't keep up. I'll either get very few dances, or tons- never just somewhere in the middle.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

Yea, isn't that weird? I think it's just a cycle... guys get a lot of dances, you're more confident, you get even MORE dances... Or, yea... the other way around for sure.

I notice a lot of lookey-loos when I do table dances. They're copping some free eye candy, and seeing if they should get a dance from you....

wait, i think you mentioend this in another thread and i wondered then too..
there are 4-6 girls on stage at once? how many per pole? im curious about this now..
do you think it'd benefit you to stay off stage? i do that and i find i make a LOT more that way since i can concentrate on selling LD and VIPs that way.

yep, same here...last night for example was my off night. the night before? I was unstoppable! I shrug off the nights where I don't do as well, keep having fun and consider it time for me to practice my stages.

I think of it like this, the night I was kicking ass was my turn, because SURELY there was some girl in the club having her 'off' night. So, now it's her turn to have a rocking night....

I don't know, I could just be pouring that sickly sweet crap on myself so I don't rip my hair out and go running through the club asking guys why they don't want me... But I think I like the alternative!

I used to work at that club. There is no way on earth you can get off stage sets. There are no poles. Basically, the dancers just stand there like a cattle call, occasionally doing a wiggle.

Believe it or not, I sold about 95% of VIPs from stage. The only way a customer can have a conversation with you is to get at least a one hour VIP. They have no choice but to buy. On average to busy nights, it does work. On slow nights or on the nights when all the hotties are working, your self-esteem is shattered.

Cheer up, leo. December is kinda rough with all the girls desparate for Xmas money.

I think we all have days where we feel much more competent than others. Things like stress, hormones, moon phases and water retention throw me off! But if I am prepared for a shift with all the supplies I need, time goes by very fast. There are still "off" days where I look my best and can't sell a dance. Am I wearing man repellent? Must be.

If I've done my best, these shifts don't bother me. I just know I have to make it up on another night.

If there only was an answer.

Last Friday night, I approached everyone and hustled my ass off and made EXACTLY as much money as Saturday when I was drunk, lazy, and did fuck all. WTF?

Yeah..this Monday I made a ton of money, everyone wanted to talk to me, everyone wanted a dance. I did NOTHING they all approached me. Tuesday night I was practically begging for dances and didn't get one. Got a few tips but barely hit $100 for my 5 hours... SO much work and effort for not a lot of money versus everyone coming right to me for tons of money...

I call it stage-flation, and it's not something you can predict or control (which really, really blows). Guys want you if they see other guys want you. They want to know they're interested in someone desirable. If some guys go up for your set, many go up for your set and poof! you have money. But if those first few don't get out of their seats, you're a bit screwed.

On nights that I knew would suck, I used to plant money in my club. My friends would come in, not sit together and tip me ridiculously during my set. Money begets money.

I hate that! Especially because I understand that a huge amount of it is presence... and some nights, I do have guys clamoring and I strut around the room with the 'oh honey, I'll dance for you just after I rock a few other worlds...' kind of attitude where guys can't keep up with me and I bank. Other nights I try to replicate that to project that attitude and I'm sure guys can sense it's fake. Dammit!

Yes, the Cheetah. There's no poles and there's no way you can get out of your stage set which is every 30 min. If you miss your stage set, you're fined $25 per missed set, if you're notorious for missing sets, they'll suspend you. I ended up doing average last night because of some help from a friend but was barely getting tipped on stage as of lately!

Don't get me wrong, I love going on stage, I love "advertising", I love being able to see the entire room and pick out customers but when I'm up there for 3 songs and don't make any money, I'm losing $30 per stage set because it's 3 songs and each dance is $10. So, if I'm on stage all night and only made a couple of dollars and on stage all night is basically anywhere from 7-10 times per night, that lost money really adds up!
