A woman is suing the Department of Homeland Security because her son was murdered by an illegal immigrant who should have been deported due to some of his prior behavior.

Damages of 100 million dollars are being requested, although from something I've heard on the radio, the Dept of Homeland Security is supposedly immune from such lawsuits.
It's an interesting question, though, as to those people who are crime victims at the hands of some illegal aliens. Who should be held financially liable in such a case? The Federal Government in general? The Department of of Homeland Security? ICE? All of the above? None of the above?
Personally, I do not believe the Dept of Homeland Security should have any immunity from such a lawsuit, since you can trace the death of three men back to something that Dept. simply ignored.
