Default I only wanted 1 outfit!

I'm really lucky because the costume disgner that most of the girls buy from happens to have her shop really close to my house.

The clubs an hour away so some girls drive almost 2 hours to her shop... So yeah I'm really lucky!

I got outta school early yesterday and I thought I'd swing in on my way home maybe get an Xmas outfit (were required to wear them) because she gives discounts at the shop (charges extra at the club cause the club charges her to come in)

All I wanted was a $30 floor outfit.... But insted I left with 2 floor outfits, 3 new thongs and gown!!! Ahh! $158 later! Good thing is I avoided feathers and glitter and the stuff I got can definetly be worn after Xmas... I even got a cute Patriots cheerleader floor outfit!!! I'm such a dork.... LOL.

Were really strapped for money right now.... I dont usually buy a lot of stuff for work I really dont. I wear very basic makeup and I do my own hair and I dont tan and I do my own nails..... So $158 isnt bad right???

I always feel bad buying stuff because I think about that money going to stuff for my son.

You have to spend a little to make alot. It's an investment which will bring you more money later. Don't feel guilty. $158 is cheap for what you got.

I usually only spend $30-40 on an outfit, but I fell in love with a $70 cowgirl suit. I wanted to kick myself for buying it but I made that $70 back on the first song I danced in it

As long as you wear what you bought, and make money doing so, don't sweat it!
You got a great deal on what you bought. There is only 1 shop around here that sells "stripper" clothes, and the gowns are $85 and up (not that pretty or great quality either). If I were to get all that, I would have spent well over $200.
    Congrats on your new gear!
With all the stupid things guys will say, stay cool.

"Her apartment is littered with soggy G-strings and cheap 8-inch heeled shoes, along with empty tubes of body glitter, mascara, prescription drugs, zit cream, Aqua Net and Polaroid pictures of her and her "friends" engaged in some drinking and dancing on St. Patrick's Day last year. " My God....

CG, it is always a riot when the designer starts rolling her bags back into the dressing room. I used to call it the "bee hive effect" as you'd see the flutter of activity with dancers darting in and out of the dressing room. There were so many times when I'd see a dancer rush out and grab a customer for a quick set of dances and then scurry back into the dressing room with the money held high yelling out "D____a! I've got the money for the outfit!" LOL Of course my favorite move was when one of the dancers just appeared out from the dressing room and sauntered up to a customer and asked if he liked the outfit on her and if he'd like to buy it for her. Admittedly over the years I've sponsored the purchase of an outfit ... or five. Heck who knows, I've lost count. Heh.

Sorry to go off track, but here's a quick funny story about D....

As you know she has arrangements with several clubs in the area. Well one night I was with a friend on our way into Centerfolds in Boston when out walked D with her bag rolling behind her. Like I said, I've bought many an outfit for you know who, so we recognized each other and she stopped to say hello and we chatted for a moment. Upon saying goodbye to each other I turned around to the see the puzzeled and confused expression on the face of my friend, the door guy, the valet and the club manager. You could just see in their faces that they were all wondering "who comes to a SC and knows the dress maker?" Heh.

One last thing I will say is that you're lucky you got your stuff on the spot. She's a great outfit maker, but not the greatest at delivering special order items. I know one young lady who tried to plan ahead and in Nov. ordered a some red bottoms with white fur fringe for x-mas. Two months later, she just hoped she might get it in time to use for Valentine's day. Heh ... Tip: Never pay her up front for a custom order. Always COD! Heh.

(PS: Hold on to those receipts! You may have spent a bit more than you planned but you can tell your fiance that you needed the tax write off. )

    Best of luck!

V- Yea I wrote a check this time (hah what are "checks?")

Yea I knew her because I was sent to her at my audition and her shop is minutes away from my house so I always just go to the shop and she made my basic wardrobe and even made me my well known custom red poka dot outfit.

I even got my first clear shoes from her... LOL... For some reason she likes me and always gives me "mommy" discounts and always makes me custom which I only put like $15 down for.... Shes been good to me.

I'm suppper tall so when I go to her shop she can show all the bigger stuff my way. But seriusly you gotta see the patriots outfit... 2 cute!

My son had a fever today so he couldnt go to daycare so I'm going to have to work tonight (Friday) 7-2..... oh man I have only worked 1 night and its real hard for me to stay up that late but I got a new gown and 2 new floor outfits.... I'm ready to go!!!.... Also I will have time.. hah for once.

BTW I told D about the photo situation... She went off about legalities.... Shes on our side..... She thinks the club has changed a bit and they need to get in shape.

Hehe I had exactly the same problem last night. Our costume lady came in (comes in once a month). I was planning on getting a cheap pair of pasties and some new 'legal' thongs, as I'm switching back to a pastie club...but then....

her leather pasties were so cute, I had to have them. And she had these terry cloth shorts that look like a 70's rollerskating set *sooooo cute!* and I had to get that...and then I had to get a skirt set...and some matching thongs....

By the time I was done I spent 180 bucks. Oops *blushes*

The only way to get a deal here in Atlanta is to shop online! The prices at the two stores I can think of are insane, $40 for 3 bottoms?
I also try to get non tradtional, put together myself from stores like forever 21, charlette ruesse spl?, wet seal, my friend even got a sexy black with silver sparkles dress shirt from Plato's Closet! It looks awsome on her!
