Default The night started with so much promise!

Last night I went into work feeling good and ready to make money. I got dressed and hit the floor. The first guy I talked to bought two dances and we chatted afterwards. He wanted to take me OTC but I told him it would be $600/hr and NO SEX. He was going for it so told him to visit me on stage as I was next and show me some love. So I get on stage and...he leaves. Fuck. It’s ok though because I'm making decent money on stage and I’m working it so I feel good.
After my set, I do the tip walk and I start up a convo with a guy sitting all by himself at the bar. He's wearing $600 shoes, diamond watch, bracelet and earrings. He's also very laid back and not all flashy with his money. He tips me a five when I shake his hand and offers me a drink. We sit and chat and he is really cool. He's attractive and well spoken and we talk about business and everything else. He's cool about me being married and talks about his relationships. He says he doesn't want any dances but he keeps asking the bartender for ones (like $100 at a time) so I figure he's gonna shower me with money when I get on stage. He say's I'm the most attractive girl there looks and personality wise and he was sitting by himself because he wasn't interested in other girls. Cha-ching for me! I leave him every so often to walk around and shake my booty for a couple tips and ask for dances but no one's buying so I keep going back to him.
Then this boxer who is apparently famous but I don't know him walks in and come to find out, they used to be sparing partners and are good friends. He tells me that guy has money (as evidenced by the bottle of Moet he ordered as soon as he got there) so I think since they know each other and he likes me so much, I'm in there like swimwear! I spent HOURS with this guy (our stage rotation takes FOREVER) thinking once I hit the stage I was going to be tipped like crazy.
Well......I get on stage and the guys that were at the stage tipping the other girls left. Then the other assholes at the stage kept asking me stupid questions and not letting me dance. (They did say they each wanted 2 dances when I got off stage so I kinda let them talking to me incessantly slide.) Then the boxer comes to the stage and says "You're something special." CHA-CHING!! He then proceeds to throw 2 FUCKING DOLLARS ON THE FUCKING STAGE!!! Say What? I said thank you anyway because I am always polite and I think maybe he just want to see how I act because he is famous and he knows I expect money out of him. I think maybe he'll see I'm not all money hungry and I keep my cool and he'll reward me with a bigger tip on my tip walk after my set. So I keep dancing and I look over at the guy I've been sitting with all night and HE’S ON THE FUCKING PHONE!!! He never makes it to the stage. My set ends and I have made about $10. Oh but I still have those 4 dances to do right? Wrong. I was the last girl and when I get off stage, they turn on the lights and tell everyone to leave!
So I go over to the guy to see if he was just waiting for me to get off stage so he could tip me (some guys don't like going to the stage to tip) and he just stays on the phone. I give him a pleasant goodbye and a big hug hoping he'll get the point but ummmm...no. I had to go get dressed so I said bye again and he nods (never getting off the phone) and I walk away. He did say he's coming back tonight to see me and he's bringing his own ones ("because this club doesn't have enough") but I'm over it.
And to add insult to injury, as I am walking back to the dressing room, this guys asks me for a lap dance. I tell him sorry, we're closed and keep on walking. Day late and a dollar short dude.
I get dressed and the boxer is still there sipping his Moet so I go up to him and say, “I’m sorry I didn’t recognize you right away but we don’t usually get men of your stature in here everyday.” He laughs and says it’s ok and then pulls out his wallet. Finally CHA-CHING, right? Hmmmm…not so much. He pulls out a fucking business card and tells me I need to come work out with him (apparently he’s also a personal trainer). So now I’m fat. And broke.
I barely made over $100 last night. I really need money this week (of course) and I am so frustrated! The last 2 weeks have been pretty shitty and with Christmas coming up and bills and everything else...blah!!!
Thanks for reading my very long vent.

Why did you spend hours with him? During this entire time did you ever ask him for a dance? What about tipping you for conversation? When I get customers who hint to me that they are so happy I came to them..they want no other girl blah blah..I throw on my "white knight" line. I'm all like, "Oh, I'm so happy I can be here to spend time with you. I hate the fact that I have to get up on stage and dance for those guys" insert sad face, and big baby doe eyes then I say, "If we go somewhere private then you and I can spend our time together, and we won't have to worry about me dancing for those men out there" And it has worked in my favor.

One thing I'm learning to do is NEVER assume that because a customer has alot of money or hell is even getting tons of singles that he is going to spend it on you. Hell, speaking of which..if he kept getting change WHY didn't you inquire as to why he was making so much change? Hell, I would've even hinted to him and asked, "oh wow baby is that all for me when I get up there" laugh and giggle. So even if it weren't..it will still give him the hint that I need to be taken care of.

Hopefully he does come back tonight, but don't make the mistake of sitting with his ass all night. Let him know that your time is valuable while you're at work.

Yeah he did buy a bottle and all but i`m not sure if i would be assuming money because of Moet. Someone correct me if i`m wrong (or maybe it`s just my club) but isn`t Moet usually the absolute cheapest bottle avalible?

Jeez.....I hate guys like that. It's like "I don't care how much money you have, babe, I only care about how much of it you're spending".

post on here tomorrow and let us know what happens
With all the stupid things guys will say, stay cool.

"Her apartment is littered with soggy G-strings and cheap 8-inch heeled shoes, along with empty tubes of body glitter, mascara, prescription drugs, zit cream, Aqua Net and Polaroid pictures of her and her "friends" engaged in some drinking and dancing on St. Patrick's Day last year. " My God....

Oh, he told me it was for me. He was tipping me for my time and buying drinks so I had no qualms about sitting with him. And the club was DEAD last night so he really was the best thing going.

And Moet is the best thing our club has. I work at a little hood spot.

The boxer was just the guy's friend. He wasn't who I was sitting with all night. I don't usually spend that much time with one person but he showed every indication of giving me that money! WTF??? Yeah, maybe he will come back and if he does, I'll ask him what was up with last night. AMybe it was an important phone call or something....

LOL right! Yo! in most (better) clubs Moet is the least expensive bottle (there are different kinds of Moet though), but get this...in Guam guess what kinda champagne we had for our $300 per half hour champagne rooms? C'mon guess!!!

Cooks!!!! $4.99 at Kmart! That was the only champagne they served!

I've found that the guys that give big tips are the people in ultra casual t-shirt/polo and jeans attire. Where as the guys who drive the bigger cars, wear leather, and sport the nicer watches, aren't as frivolous with their money as they are always thinking of what money will buy "them" next, not you. They also are comfortable with themselves and don't have to throw high bills down to get respect they feel they deserve.

Oh how I wish I was kidding, lol. Anybody that's worked at Gspot, and sold rooms, will concur.

They did however give you the option of 2 mixed drinks instead...WHOOPY-DO!!!!

I don't blame you for being disappointed, but consider it a lesson learned. NEVER assume that someone who LOOKS like they have money is planning to tip you unless the cash is in your hand.

Plenty of broke ass motherfuckers wear nice clothes, it does NOT mean they actually have money or that they plan on spending. I've often made my biggest money from the guy in the plain clothes and cheap shoes. The ones who flash the cash are generally the biggest wastes of time. Anyone who has to brag about their money probably doesn't have enough to even worry with.

i agree. one guy who comes into the club makes a filthy amount of money and he dresses like a bum so no one will bother him.

I usually follw that rule but he actully told m ehe was going to tip me on stage so it's not like I was assuming from nothing. At my club, lots of guys don't want to buy dances. The stage is the focal point, the lapdances are an afterthought. So when someone you are talking to says they are going to tip you on stage, they usually do.

And no, he didn't come back tonight. I made pretty good money though anyway and I only went on stage once so I'm happy.

money often comes in the least expected places.

i was sitting with these two biker looking dudes, tattoos EVERYWHERE really rough and they kept on talking about how they just got out of X years in prison and all that shit...

and then mentioned how all these other guys in the club (a fairly upscale club) were looking at them all cross and shit and "i have more money in my pocket than all these guys combined" and yeah, i saw it... woahh... haha

but hey, just because they have money doesn't mean they're going to spend it. but, if they DO have money, you need to figure out how to get them to spend it. no matter how much money they have, if you can't get it in your purse, it's really time to move on. which is a shitty feeling because you can't help but feeling that you could be missing out! but if theyre not spending you're missing out on the other money from all the other dudes.

ahhhh its like such a freakin game isn't it??

there's that whole lead a horse to water analogy i suppose.

LOL-- I listened to my DW seminar on CD and would focus on one or two things a night. When it came to picking the guy who was dressed nice, smelled good, had the good shoes and watch on, I picked the most obvious one in the club who was flashy.

And guess who's the only one who's ever given me a fucking counterfeit bill? (It was a twenty for one dance.) HIM!!!
And it wasn't even a good counterfeit. One side was good, which is the way he folded it, the other side was all off and shit-- and it was printed on a computer! I think he wrapped it in like two dollars or something so I didn't realize the feel until I'd gone back to the LR.

FUCK assuming things about nicely dressed people.

p.s. I was thinking about people who've spent money on me and what their clothes looked like. The only people who have consistently spent cash on me who actually looked as nice where the Latino gentlemen. They could be in the nice slacks and silk shirt with the gold jewelry, or they could be coming in with their ostrich boots and their huge belt buckle.

As far as white rich men go...newp. it's the guys who dress down who are with it typically.

And as far as black guys go...mostly all talk. I find the only black guys I make my money off of are the shy NON-talkers.

The nicely dressed black guys though typically are talkers, and thus want to waste my time and tell me how fine my ass is and GROPE like nothing out there.

My solution: Oh-- you want a dance? Lead them up to VIP. Okay-- let's get a dance. And then it's obvious they don't want to spend the money so then they stammer about getting one a little later.

Hope that didn't come out as racist as I've had both good and bad from every ethnicity, and while a lot of girls bitch about Mexican or other Latino men-- I tend to do well with them, even the octopuses.

What a homo. I hate that. I've taken a few risks like this and one of them had me leave work with 14 bucks. The other had me leave quite happy. Win some lose some.

This really points to the crux of this type of situation. Slow nights can be big gambling nights a lot of times. There's less customers in the club so your options are limited. If its really slow and a guy has all the indications of being a good prospect, its probably worth your while to spend an hour with him. But it might not be true. He might be on a wiley cheap ass on a power trip. But another slow night that might work out differntly. How long was your shift?

The shift was from 7pm-2am and I spent about the last 2 hours with him while I waited to get back on stage.
