    Default Seriously, I give up!!

Okay, I'm going to stop eating on a schedule and trying to lose weight thru dieting/exercising!

Here's my problem: I usually do great for each week, except when I go out of town, which is 1-2 weeks per month. When I'm gone, I'm living by other people's schedules, eating what they eat and doing the things they do. I'm not willing to give-up my travelling. When I'm at home, I hit the gym (or go on a rigorous hike) at least 6 days a week. Why is it, then, have I only lost a grand total of 3 pounds?? I'm frustrated. I like the physical activity, but the "diet" part doesn't fit into my life and denying myself foods that I love seems to be crazy and counterproductive, since I'm not losing weight anyway!

Any thoughts or suggestions? I feel like a big, fat failure.

Three pounds is great! How long have you been on this diet/workout plan?

    Muscle weighs more than fat.

Example: You're supposed to gain weight after your BA right? You're sitting around for a month eating and not doing anything else. Well so far I've lost 7 and a half pounds. Why? My muscle is gone. =/

You're probably gaining muscle and burning fat and thus not seeing a big difference?

Maybe your body is just at it's healthy/proper weight? Based on your profile pic you don't look like you need to drop any pounds. You look like you have a beautiful strong body with just the right amount of curves, imo.

I'd say keep working out.... but do so to maintain that figure of yours, not change it!

Damn you wanna trade bodies? Shoot. Seriously, I agree with Tara on this one. If anything I would suggest to tighten up your diet and weight train. Its amazing how weight training makes you look skinnier without actually loosing weight yet. Im pretty much the same weight since I started with my trainer (mostly own fault due to poor food choices) but I fit into my skinnier jeans anyways. Ive lost inches not as much pounds and stayed about the same.
