After the boy's company holiday party at Gameworks tonight, I wanted to check out another club in town as a possible place to work. So we headed on to do some boobie recon![]()
Watched the stage for a bit, checked out the club. Place was busy, people spending, looked like a place I could make money. So I decided to ask the manager when to come for audition. The doorgirl got him from the office, and when he walked up I got straight to the point. He asked what shift I was interested in - nights. "We're not hiring right now." Now, to insert a little horn-tooting here, I ain't no ugly bitchI looked at manager with disdain and said, "too many girls?" "Yeah we've got too many girls on nights right now, but you could come in for days." [also I'd like to add that at least half the chics there were in the 5-7 stripper range - and only one stunner, so it couldn't have been that I'm not attractive enough] So I copped an attitude, leaned up to his ear and said, "doesn't LOOK like that many" and walked off with my nose in the air, not even listening as he tried to reply.
Within 2 minutes he was at my seat asking if I'd danced before and where, and told me to come in tomorrow night. LOL!! I guess that means he likes bitches![]()
Moral of the story ladies: Don't get all mopey and tuck-tailed if a manager initially turns you down. Cop a little attitude (not too much, just enough to show you don't buckle to bullshit), and you get more of what you want.
I sat there laughing for a good 5 minutes after that. Sometimes I still can't believe what it takes to get what I want.
