    Default Work schedule

When I would go to the sc i would get there early so i could go through this routine of getting ready. And then after wards i would try to set a hustle schedule to wear i would observe, mingle/hustle, stage work, (give the dance) repeat, while throwing in a small break or two. Does anyone have a usual method they go by?

my method: GO GO GO GO GO. no breaks, no watching, just keep on chatting up custies and hustling. the more you break, the more you sit and watch, the less money you are making. but that's just me.

    Love it!

can't you observe while you're talking to a guy? Don't make it obvious, of course, but keep aware of what's going on around you. The stage is a great place to see what's going on, who is there, who is looking at you, etc. Girls that go up there and don't observe/ connect with customers are missing a great opportunity

i would get wiped out if i did things like that!!

but hey, if you have the energy, good for you!

most of us however, probably need some rest in those 8 hours. i allow myself a break or two or three, depending.

if its a weeknight, a little slower, and i've pretty much talked to everyone whos not already busy with another dancer, and i'm just waiting on the customer turnover for more men, then hell yeah it's okay to relax and grab a munchie and wait for someone to a)become available b) become interested.

on busier nights i go after the men who were at my stage first.

i dont have a special routine its really a go with the flow kind of job. hell yeah if its slammed i'm not going to waste a second but on slower nights, usually they'll allow for some kick back time

    I have a routine.
Drink 750 ml water bottle each hour. Go to loo before (or straight after) stage set, cos I always find Im busting when Im about to step on stage, then Im scared to do any extreme moves lol.
I try to have a snack between the 1/2 and 2/3 mark of my shift, so I have energy to finish, plus it gives me time out.

Im a very routine person however, I love doing timetables and rosters :-)
Theres no sense crying over every mistake,
you just keep on trying till you run out of cake

I get ready at home listening to music they play at the club to get me pumped and when I get there, I'm ready to go, I hit the floor before I'm due up on stage and more and more my hustle is getting better & better to where I get a VIP before going on stage! Stage is great, but it's every 30 min w/ 3-6 other girls for 3 songs. If you're not in VIP then you're on stage every 30 min, I hate that because sometimes you walk off with nothing and sometimes a little more than $10! To me, every stage time is minimum $30-$60 lost if not more!

I usually take a 10-15 min break half way through to eat something and freshen up my makeup. When I'm there, I try to GO, GO, GO and I'm out there usually until the very last song because up until then, there's still $$$ to be made!!!! Plus at the last half hour of the night, many of the girls run to the dressing room to try to head out early and it's nice because there's less girls to compete with! More money for me!!!

I either make most of my money in the beginning or right at the end. I can't work with taking breaks. While I'm doing that, I make mental notes of who I will approach next. I guess I could do the nonstop thing, but I like to stay after most of the girls leave, which will mean going up on stage more often- so I try to save my energy.

Everyone is different. I'm the energizer bunny type that keeps goin' and goin'. Some girls ask me how I do it and that I'm relentless on the floor and you know what, I am.

Some people need more breaks then others, so what. Take the time you need to prepare yourself for the BS. Because it's always some BS goin' on. It doesn't make you less of a hustler to take the time to sit back and observe and rest and eat, but it's just not me.

I'm always on the go. In fact, I never sit down when I'm off the floor. I stand up for everything, because it gets me one step closer to getting out the door. You know it's funny when I'm running around working I see girls watching my every move. It amazing how some people will take so much time out of their schedule to track what I'm doing, but to each its own.

I cant hustle untill I had my warmup which is my first stage set... Then I work it and I continue to work it... I ALWAYS hustle the hardest after I've been on stage.

If I get a bunch of NO's then I use that time to smoke a cigarette "regroup" fix my makeup and get a bite to eat... Then I'm refreashed.

I have no set schedule. I work really well in a looser fashion, where I can do what I want whenever I want to do it. My managers are always harassing the girls to get on the floor and work, especially during specials, but they know not to bother me because I do my best work when I'm not under pressure from them. They see me getting VIPs somehow, and it's not during 3-for-1's. LOL

I take as many breaks as I need to, usually after I've talked to everyone in the club and they've turned me down for dances, or they are busy with other dancers. I work on slower weekday nights so as to avoid the annoying groups of young guys and crowds of gawking morons. Also, I can't work if I'm hungry, so I always bring food and eat at some point during the night. Even before I was pregnant, I absolutely HAD to sit and relax at some point during the night, even if I was making money. My back and legs would hurt too much! My health and sanity are more important to me than money.

I am the same exact way. When I'm at work I'm making money, thats what I'm there for, not to take a break, not to socialize. Working nonstop makes me more money but I am able to work less. I don't understand how some of you girls can work 5-6 nights a week and go to the gym during the day also. my body just won't allow me that much physical or mental work. I can make more in 2 days than I would in 4, because if I was working 4 I'd have to not work as hard to save my energy.

I work hard and have energy, but it's the actual getting to work that I am bad at. Which is why its 9pm and im sitting home on my couch with my hair and makeup done and Im about to start a movie. I don't have much motivation anymore.

I do that too! I like to 'advertise' myself on stage before making rounds. It's rare that I will hustle anyone before going up.

^^ I agree. I like to dance first before I start hustling. Even when I do try, a lot of the time guys say they want to see me dance first and ask when I'll be up.

I try to stay on the floor as much as possible. I usually go to the bathroom or dressing room only once a shift and I make sure not to linger. Our dressing room is literally halfway around the perimeter of a very large club through a long curvey walkway. It's take too much time. I started bringing my lipgloss in my garter since that is what I used to go back for. I probably should eat a snack halfway through the night - I seem to get tired of trying to be "on" the later it gets. But I agree you can rack up some dances during the very last bit of the night, it's usually worth staying till the end so I do.

That's how I am too. Luckily, my DJ knows this and will usually try to put me on fairly soon after I arrive. Until then I'll have (just one) drink at the bar and check out the crowd. If there are a few guys around I'll chat with them. They're usually the first ones at the stage tipping me once I go up and often ask for dances afterwards too

Oh, and I also always stay till the end of the night, unless I'm feeling REALLY sick or something. Those last 20 minutes are often back-to-back dances for me. Doesn't hurt that the DJ constantly reminds the custies that their time is almost up so they're all thinking, "Shoot! Get a stripper over here!"

I am a Go Go Go person, except for the first hour of the night. If I'm super motivated, I'll start busting out a hustle the second I step on the floor. If I'm tired or unmotivated, I'll go to the bar, have a drink and a ciggarette, and maybe even go on stage before I start chatting. After I talk to the first guy though, it's non-stop til the closing song.

I love when the managers complain about the girls in the dressing room because I know it's not me. I spend 10 minutes in 7 hours back there. If I have to take a break I'll sit at the bar or go early to the DJ booth where I can at least still see the floor.

It depends how busy your club is. My old club was so slow I used to bring a book to read. Now I can barely fix my makeup without thinking about the money I'm missing.

Hell yeah! That's how it's really done.

Okay that's cool. I like to get ready at home as well but had never thought of waiting until after the first stage set to hustle

I work 6-2, and it's a long ass shift. I make the majority of my money between 6 and 11. Really, sometimes after that I just stop trying. I think an eight hour shift is too long. And when I start to get tired I find that I am more easily irritated and that little things start to get to me.

Saturdays are different, I go go go on busy nights like that. Sometimes I will go back and take a 15 min. break, but I try really hard to keep hustling, even when it gets hard.
