Default small things you can do to keep in shape?

hey everyone, it's me again :D

i was thinking about this today: since i'm still in school and living with my parents (almost out!) i really can't choose what i eat or easily count calories. school also makes it so that i can't work out that much at all (i get home at around 7ish every night and then there's like 3 hours of homework) but i do know that there are some small things you can do in your daily lifestyle that can change some things.

here are some things i'm trying right now:
    • eat breakfast, try to make it your biggest meal
    • healthily snack between meals (in order to keep your metabolism going)
    • don't eat in the 3 hours before bed

some of you guys might be thinking "just wait until you're on your own!"

i know, it'll probably be easier then, but i'd like to get a head start on it. xD i wanna be hot NOW. haha

anyway, what are some small tips like those that you guys live by and can maybe share?

Yea it is easier but its all choices. Its easier a little bit knowing that youre the one who bought those cookies or salad and made a bad or good choice in food.

*I bring a big ol bottle of water to school and drink all day. Its gets me to dinner time.
*Bring fruit in its own wrapping - banannas, apples, grapes, oranges etc.
*If you eat delicious home cooking eat only a cup full and have dinner with alot of water. Still hungry 20 min. later... repeat.
*Low fat low or no salt crackers is good between meals. Especially if your teacher wont let you eat in class.

Vasilissa... that's the russian cinderella right? I played her in a school play in 10th grade.

Some things you can do are:
    * when you get hungry in between meals, eat a (small) handfull of un-salted nuts
    * make absoloutly sure you are getting enough protien and fiber ( have a good amount with each meal, and a little with snacks too)
    * Drink green tea, and take your vitamins
    * If your going to eat crap, make in no mor ethan a tablespoon full or two at most. If you deprive yourself, you'll go crazy and binge later.
    * I second the water thing.... and cut out soda as much as you possibly can.

    Good luck,
    Fawn

The most noticible change will be ot only drink water. You'll see a quick difference, and if you're like me, you'll loose a lb a week to just go to starbucks 1-2 times, instead of daily

not worth it to me! lol

What I am currently doing, which is working great for me so far is this:

    1. No fast food what so ever

    2. No pop/soda

    3. No food 3-4 hours before bed

    4. I'm drastically cutting my calorie intake. Eating what I want, but if I want those five cookies, than thats about all I can eat for that day! (i agree, dont deprive yourself, or you'll binge)

    5. LOTS of water

    6. While watching tv or something, do situps, lunges, pushups, during the commercial breaks. (for you, maybe after every half an hour of studying do 5 minutes of situps, lunges or pushups)

First thing in the morning before breakfast drink two or three big cups of water.

Only drink water - no soda, sugary juices, etc.

When you go to the bathroom, do 10 squats before you leave.

When you walk up stairs, take them two at a time and slowly.

    Don't eat at night.
