I don't know how it is for the past couple of months, but I do know some of the clubs that are open....

    Deja Vu
    Hustler Club
    Barely Legal
    Little Darling's
    Ricks
    Temptations
    Penthouse Club

I worked at Rick's and at Barely Legal. I didn't like Rick's all that much, I just couldn't get into my groove there. Might have been due to the fact that the girls I was there with didn't want to work, they just wanted to drink and I don't drink. I liked Barely Legal though, I was more comfortable, even though it is a Deja Vu club so the fees were high.

Anybody been there the past couple of months? I am booked at a club in Baton Rouge in January and was thinking about giving NO another try after my gig. I don't want to spend the $$ on a hotel and all of that if it isn't worth it, because when I was there hotels were expensive. Food and water were too, I have a receipt from Krystal Burgers, I got 2 burgers and a Coke for $7.83. So any opinions would help me too.

$7.83 for KRYSTAL?! Are you kidding?? Just how much was that Coke? When I go to Krystal in Memphis, those burgers cost 59 cents each! That's the point of Krystal!

My friend works at Hustler in Baltimore and she goes down to work at the Deja Vu clubs in New Orleans every few months. She loves it and says she makes a ton of money, but I havent been so I'm only going by what she says. She's been multiple times, so it must be worth it, for her at least.

Exactly. I looked at the lady at the counter like she was nuts. But I was hungry and there weren't really any other restaurants open yet (not even McDonald's) so I took what I could get. I saved the receipt because I knew I would never pay that much for Krystal any other time. The wonders of hunger and not having many choices. I was paying $8 for a regular sized bottle of water at that time as well. The next time I went I took my own water and snacks so I only had to buy meals.

Things are really hit or miss down here, as always. Some days I can't dance fast enough for everyone and other days we have 4 customers. But its fun and I like the stage at Deja Vu so for me it is worth the trip.

Is Deja Vu still doing the dorm thing for the dancers, or do you have to get your own hotels now? Also, how are the fees and schedules? The fees were high (higher than regular Deja Vu fees) last time I was there.

hmmm .. I am going to have to go to reviews and check up on the clubs so I can get a better idea of which is which. I have only been there once. i didnt work. I have heard good and bad things about NO. I heard there are a lot of high contact dancers, which I am not. I dont mind grind dances a little, but I much prefer the custy to keep his hands to himself. is that possible there?

They let the customers touch most of the time in NO, at least where I was at and who I saw dancing. I would dance holding my boobs so they couldn't touch them. I was pretty clear about what they could and couldn't do, and most of the time they listened. I can deal with them touching my back or legs while I am dancing, but no kitty or boobs. I'm weird about stuff like that. I don't know how it is right now though.

    Anybody know?
