    Default Scenting My Lotion

I love the Nivea shimmer body lotion, but hate the smell. I would like to add my own scent to it. I'm guessing I could add in some scented oil to it, so does anyone know where to find some good-smelling oils? Otherwise I'll just continue to mix it half and half with a different good-smelling body lotion- I just don't like doing that because it waters down (lotions down? lol...) the shimmer so it isn't as shimmery.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

I've done that (mixed lotions)I personally do not like anything shimmery..the shimmers stick to my hands and get everywhere. Some scented essential oils are not ok for direct skin contact, just be careful. I know you cannot use cinnamon.. it'll burn you..and i know peppermint has a very cooling effect on skin. You could try Lavender.?

Essential oils... 5-8 drops of that, any smell you want, should do ya.

Scented lotions make me really itchy. Perfume directly on me gives me migraines. My solution...spray the perfume into unscented lotion on my hand, mix up good, and put that on. I don't itch and I don't get a migraine since the smell isn't as strong. Maybe you can try that???
